Holy Crap we made it San Francisco! We rolled into the city on Sunday, had our first show last night with a few more to follow in the week to come! Make sure to catch us at Grant & Green on Wednesday night as well as THE BIG ONE at Hotel Utah on Sunday!!It is a joy to be back in SF, seeing old friends and making new ones. The weather is more than cooperative, its sunny and hot so it feels like home  :)  We are so close to home i can feel it, we leave for SD on Monday after a whirlwind weeks in San Francisco, help us make this last week the best yet!!

#Portland. So great. This time around we got to stay a little longer and experience a bit more of what this city had to offer...and man it was fun. Today we headed down to Southern Oregon and arrived in Ashland just moments ago. We had a bit of a cock-up with our arrangements and had to spring for a hotel unfortunately, which has left us in a sour mood and perhaps the shows this weekend will pick us back up. In the meantime, if anyone knows of a place that we could stay tomorrow and saturday night in or around Ashland OR please let us know, we don't want to spend all our money only a week and a half away from being home!!!

We made it to the Land of Port! Yesterday we had a short drive from Seattle and now we get a few days to play some shows and relax before heading down to Southern Oregon, Ashland to be exact! While in town we hope to see some friends, eat some yummy food, drink some beer, and maybe go to a strip club dinner or two...you know...to get the feel of Portland :) 

We ALSO just announced another show at the end of the tour, for all you LA folk we are doing a birthday show at Hotel Cafe on Sam's Birthday May 22nd! YAY!

#WESTCOAST! We are finally back in our own timezone, Seattle we are happy to be here!! We have a night to relax before a show tomorrow at Tim’s Tavern and then we will be on our way, meandering down the coast until we reach the end of this wonderful journey :) Here’s to finishing strong and getting home healthy!

Hello Idaho! We drove into Boise yesterday for a couple days of shows after a great visit in SLC :) Again, more hospitality than we really know what to do with! Tomorrow we head up to Seattle, back to the time zone we remember and the coast we love and miss! THIS IS THE HOMESTRETCH PEOPLE!!

WE MADE IT!!! Yes, we are alive & we made it to the show on time and bright eyed! We got into Salt Lake City around 6pm last night, showered up and had a bite, then went down to set up for our 9pm, 3 hour show at Gracie's! As always, they were wonderful and it was so worth it. We are just glad we got out of the Midwest when we did, all that weather we just missed would have made our Southern California faces melt :)

Today we have a short 5 hour drive up to Boise for 2 shows in the next 2 days. Wish us well and lets hope the bad weather stays behind us. If only for Gramp's (he is the car...and he is filthy after that dirty icey snowy crap we just drove through)

WEATHER!!!! Alright, alright. We are clearly from Southern California. We are spoiled and total babies, San Diego is a sweet wonderland of beautifulness 90% of the time. Seeing the nation, especially on a tour playing music, has been amazing. Even the "bad" days, even the "bad" weather, even the long drives. All that makes for a complete experience that we will never forget...but today...GRRRRRRR. 

So we left Lincoln, NE this morning after hanging out with our good friend Will last night. He got us a last minute gig for our last minute stop. Which then lead to us leaving at 8am for a long-ass drive to Salt Lake City for another last minute show we got! Well, as we planned, 8am came and we left..all went well for a bunch of hours. About 8 to be exact. Then we enter Wyoming...and it starts to snowy icey snowy rain. Yes, thats a thing. Alright, so its shitty, we can deal with that. Then the road is closed. Fine, 3 hours we have to drive and add on to the trip to go around...fine. 2 hours later we hit another road that is...you guessed it...closed due to weather. At this point we have been driving for about 11 hours and are about 45 minutes from Denver...luckily we have friends there :) This does mean, however, that we will have to get up early again and drive 7 hours to SLC and then do a 3 hour show. Hey...i guess we finally know the perils of the road :) haha! 

For all the hospitality, all the wonderful people and places, all the great things that have happened so far...this is a small (but extremely frustrating) price to pay.

Back in Lincoln! After a great show last night at Old Skoolz in Sioux Falls we made it to Lincoln for the night and picked up a last minute show! Tomorrow is our biggest drive of the tour...we go 13 hrs to Salt Lake City for another last minute show at Gracie's...its nice to re-visit a few places and see some of our new friends again! We are making our way back to the West Coast! 2 Weeks ago we were in Boston, 2 weeks from now we will be in Southern Oregon!! YAY CAN'T WAIT

Whirlwind! Yet again. We stopped in Minneapolis last night, had some dinner and chatted it up with some new friends, and today we are on our way to Sioux Falls for a show at Old Skoolz tonight! So the road goes i suppose, the next week will be non stop until we get back to the west coast (Seattle on May 1st) and then we take a nice leisurely few weeks down the coast back home :)

Chicago you feel like an old friend! The last 4 days have been so much fun, and we had a surprise #Chicago experience.

Starting with seeing Delta Rae live hours after our arrival, going to my first soccer game (it was a blast…so much energy!), seeing the city on a beautiful sunny day (including the reflect bean as Sam calls it, the Sears Tower and the John Hancock building, the theatre district, The Field Museum, and so much more), playing 2 shows here, hanging out at Matt’s brewery Begyle Brewing (amazing…just the best beer and the best people running this place!), seeing Lance and Hannah while in town was a welcome breath of fresh home air, and then to top the whole thing off on our last day in town we went to Wrigley Field on the 100th yr anniversary of the park opening and watched some of a game and then played Cards Against Humanity with Matt & Lauren last night to end the whole experience right :) haha! 

What a great week! How do we move past….here we go!! On to the next, we drive through Minneapolis tonight and onto to Sioux Falls tomorrow for a show.

Yes indeed. We are in Chicago! We arrived yesterday and, after a whirlwind in Ann Arbor for a night, we get a couple days here with our friends Matt & Lauren to play some shows and chill. Hannah and Lance flew out to join the festivities and we plan on making some great music as well as seeing what Chicago has to offer. YAY CHICAGO!!!!

We made it! After a long couple of days (hopefully the longest we will have) we got to Cincinnati last night and went straight to a show...after doing ALL of our laundry that is. Seems the rain and tiny holes in the pack we keep our clothes in have made for a soggy yucky mess. Luckily we had enough time to bust out a couple huge loads of laundry at a laundromat before we changed into out freshly clean clothes and sang for 2 hours! Tonight we play at Mayday's and then tomorrow we head to Ann Arbor, with Chicago to follow on Saturday.

MAN its been go go go for a couple weeks, it will be so nice to have a couple days in Chicago to reset a bit. NOT TO MENTION we have some guests meeting us there to keep us company/occupied :)

Pitt Stop in #Pittsburg. After a 12 hour day in the car we crashed out hard last night and woke up early for a nice short drive to #Cincinnati today.

Our visit in New Hampshire with the Vernon clan was so great, we caught up and got to meet the lovely miss Magnolia (she is 15 months old now) for the first time.

Today we drive to New Hampshire to see Jerry (also known as Jer-bear, Jayo, Jeremiah) and I am thrilled! After an AMAZING weekend in Boston/North Attleboro!! The show last night at the Bergeron homestead far exceeded any expectation we could have had. So many great people, so attentive and receptive :) There aren't even words for the hospitality we experienced from strangers. Thank you all. This tour continues, and everywhere we visit gets harder to leave. Onward good people! :)

So we, sadly, said goodbye to New York today and made the drive up to Boston for this weekend of shows. Tonight we play at McGanns and tomorrow we have a crazy awesome house show planned at the place we are lucky enough to be staying! 

As for the adventure, well it continues. New York was a whirlwind of amazingness thanks to Jesse, and it was HIS birthday week. From surprise guests to finding new favorite cocktails and so much more in between all that NY has fast become our favorite stop so far...and thats saying a lot. This tour has been nothing but great things so for that statement to be made means a lot. Thanks New York. You will see us again.

So we hit the ground running here! We have been in NY for a couple days now and I am just now sitting down to write this! Thats a great thing. So far we have had 2 killer shows with a 3rd tonight, some surprise guests that flew out from San Diego to see us here, and a kick ass tour guide showing us any and everything our little hearts have desired. Thanks to Jesse, and lets keep it coming. On to Boston tomorrow for a couple shows this weekend, someone pinch me :) This is all happening!!

So far Virginia has been awesome, no surprise there! We are in Charlottesville today visiting Sweet Trav, there have been and will be a lot of Greens reunions happening on this tour! Tomorrow we head off to New York, wish us safe travels and NO TOLLS!!!
