I like to think this is in a Modern AU.

And Owain begged Inigo to dress up as a Mercenary while Owain dressed up as a Myrmidon because he has costumes in his room that he made and only wore to conventions. Inigo would feel embarrassed that the ladies would see him in such unsightly clothes.
