She knows the rage he had for her. It wasn’t the first time a YoRHa member tried to kill her but failing every single time. It’s no different with the latter. But she knows that his type of rage is different, it’s personal.
The YoRHa members that had gone after her had a mission, a mission to eradicate her after she betrayed and leave the YoRHa. They wanted to kill her because of that sole purpose, but this, 9S wanted to kill her not because she betrayed YoRHA.
YoRHA was long gone, they’re in a new world where humans seemed to be alive and well and no threats of the machines to destroy the earth. The reason 9S wanted to kill her is that she killed 2B, whom he might develop feelings for her (irony that YoRHA rule of prohibiting emotions).
A2 did not sheathe her weapon, she got no intention to fight him right now in this small enclosed space they have. It was supposed to be a ‘home’, what a ridiculous thing to roomed her with the Scanner type.
