The End.
The End, period!
Goodbye, and thank you, farewell,
with this last poem!
September 9th, 2016
Roots exist now, deep;
not just idea sprouts, green,
but brown, earthy, broad.
September 8th, 2016
The snowman escapes,
runaway robbery of
elves’ toys and gumdrops.
September 7th, 2016
Green spaces, laundry
in the breeze. White linen lines,
a modern cut frame.
September 6th, 2016
I’m not listening.
More problems exist than yours,
this one’s a doozy.
September 5th, 2016
Apply some thought, please.
Not just guess, and hope the best.
This chessboard does kill.
September 4th, 2016
An inaccurate
movie, clown makeup instead
of time chiseled jaws.
September 3rd, 2016
Standard night owl
bracketed stars in relief.
Backdrop? Not so much.
September 2nd, 2016
Trees in reflections,
refracted chlorophyll breathe
warm radiation
September 1st, 2016
She hunts for birds, creeps
silently, but a bird’s eyes
sees, and she’s thwarted.
August 31st, 2016
Bees buzzing through smoke
not quite docile, not alarmed
though worried a bit.
August 30th, 2016
My computer ate
this poem with a loud crash,
sometimes you lose work.
August 29th, 2016
Blank scene, set dressings
still in storage, typewriter
just starting to cool.
August 28th, 2016
One stitch and not two;
mend what’s in need, leave the rest,
don’t overwork dough.
August 27th, 2016
Trees talk, you know that?
Maybe not much, but enough
to make friends and foes.
August 26th, 2016
Egg wash and sugar
over moth-ridden flour,
fresh from the oven.
August 25th, 2016
A crowd bellows smoke, sole stomps soot, eyes blaze alight, sirens lurch away
