Baby Zöe’s first frozen-thawed meal, and first meal since I brought her home, was a quick success ☺️

Welcome home Zöe! I’m the mother of two ball pythons now, after having Daemon (my first reptile ever) for 2 and a half years ☀️

This little girl is a banana pastel leopard morph, and she’s two and a half months old!

Already she is such a curious sweetheart ☺️

Have been wanting a plaque for his terrarium for ages, but considering where I live (Uruguay) it’d be insanely expensive to order one online from someone in the us/etc, and the reptile community here is too small for anyone to be making some.

So! I made one myself, for fun, and had it printed in waterproof sticker paper at a local printing business for like $1.

I come back from the depths to share with you guys Daemon’s new terrarium! It’s the same size as his old one (beneath it), but with more height so I can give him more climbing opportunities, since I’ve seen him enjoy that occasionally.

Now his old terrarium is freed up for new and fun things to come 😉🐍

Enclosure cleaning day! Finally found a supplier of coconut chips and sphagnum moss, so I finally changed his substrate from coco fiber w perlite to chips.

He IMMEDIATELY started sniffing around all the moss and burying himself in it, and has already been in the cold hide (filled with moss) and the warm hide. It was so cute to see him exploring everything so happily 😭🩵

Hello, I come back from the shadows (so much has happened 🥲) to share the best yawn I have recorded since getting this boy 2 years ago now 💚 Got it last night after some handling before he settled down to bask.

After a month away (time in which his breeder was incredibly nice to care for him) I came back and finally got him home <3 Had to change some substrate and change things around a bit since the terrarium dried out with the summer heat (and the friend who stayed to take care of things did not do well with my plants), but I think i like it even better than it was before.

Daemon certainly has been looking glad that the rack situation was only temporary! He was up at 1am last night wreaking havock and exploring everything.

I took the opportunity to upgrade his hides since he no longer fit in his; he now has two exo terra XL ones.

While out exploring on the living room the other day, he showed interest in the stairs for the first time ever (it’s his fourth? Time exploring in there since we moved to this house) entirely on his own (started on the couch with me) and I found it so fascinating to see how he figured them out on his own.

I grabbed him after he made it to the top dw 😅 but it was so cool to see his little brain process climbing each step.
