Drunk Mack

Timeline: December 2013
Mack felt herself being led down the dark halls of the boys dormitories, Mia and Bella both at her side as she stumbled over herself. Not only was it difficult enough to walk because of the alcohol in her system, but her heels made the task even more difficult. "W-Where are we goingggg?" Mack slurred her words as she was growing impatient, her bottom lip poking out into a pout as she was silence by the two. It wasn't long before they'd stopped in front of a door and Mack was told that it was Aaron's. Her eyes lit up and before she could say anything more Mia and Bella were gone. Reaching for the door knob, she twisted it and pushed it open before stumbling inside. Humming softly as she stumbled forward towards Aaron's bed and shook her boyfriend. "Hm, baaaaby. Wake up!" She squeaked, her words continuing to slur as she didn't give a second thought as to whether his roommate was in the room or not--not that she could care less about that by this point, anyways.
Aaron had actually went to bed early that night, because he had been playing video games and had fell asleep, So instead of doing teh usual thing that was go around trying to find somethign to do or someone to bother, he was already in bed and sleeping like a baby. It felt like he hadn't slept all that long when he felt someone shaking him and he heard a voice that he recognized instantly, but that sounded extremely different. He opened his eyes groggily, squinting a little until he finally saw Mack standing in front of him. He sat up slowly and rubbed at his eyes. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He asked as he looked at her, trying to figure out what looked different about her.
"O-Of course everything's okay." Mack said in a matter of fact tone, hiccuping as she finally collapsed onto the bed not so gracefully. "I-I just don't understand," Mack began as she reached down to pull her heels off, "it's the twentieth century and they still haven't made heels comfortable! What else is someone as short me supposed to wear? Like...sneakers and flats all the time? A-Aaron that just won't do!" Her eyebrows knitted together in confusion as her face masked over with concentration.
Aaron woke up completely when he noticed her tone of voice. For someone who spend a lot of time with people who got drunk very easily, he could tell when someone was drunk very easily. It didn't make sense though because Mack never drank? He was sure that he had seen her drink like two or three times since they had started dating, so this was definitely weird for him. Making room for her as she collapsed on the bed, Aaron turned to look at his roommate's bed, noticing that it was empty before turning his attention back to his girlfriend. "I know. Heels suck, babe." He said, not really knowing what to do since he was so surprised. "We'll find a way to make them comfortable for you though. How did you get here thoguh, babe?"
Mack pushed herself back further on to his bed and turned her body to face him as her legs crossed so she could sit Indian style. "Oh!" Mack looked up so that her eyes could lock with Aarons as she grinned. "Mia and uhm..Bella brought me here! I don't really know why. W-We were just starting to have fun!" Mack's bottom lip poked out into a pout as she tried to piece together why she had ended up at Aaron's dorm.
Aaron raised his eyebrows at her answer. He didn't know if he should be amused or not because of this whole thing. Mack was obviously pretty drunk but at least she was here with him, it was just rather strange to see her in the state she was in. "Well, where were you all having fun?" He asked, smiling because honestly? The look on his girlfriend's face was priceless right now and he never thought he'd see her acting like this. "Don't pout, babe. Are you sad to see me?" He teased, watching her.
Keri Mack nodded quickly in response to his question, giggles emitting from her lips soon after. Mack couldn't be happier. It was almost as if the alcohol made all of her worries disappear, letting her believe that it was one of the best nights of her life although she would most definitely say otherwise the next morning. "So, so much fun." Mack's eyes widened in complete shock at what he said next, her jaw dropping as she shook her head. "Oh my goodness, no! Y-You're my favorite person in the world, now why would I be sad to see you?" Mack asked as she tilted her head to the side.
His smile widened as he saw how happy she looked, even if it was under the influence of alcohol. Aaron just liked seeing her happy and he couldn't help but let her enjoy this. He didn't mind having to be with her because he was actually enjoying it too and she seemed to be a little hyper but it wasn't too much, either way, she was the only person he would deal with like this. "Well, I'm glad you had fun with Bella and my sister. How are those two?" Laughing lightly at her next words, he shook his head playfully at her. "I was teasing you, baby. You're being extremely cute, you know?"
"Well, Bella wasn't as nice as M-Mia. I told her not to smoke in our room but she wouldn't listen! T-Then she said ew because I'm a 'goody goody'. She told me to...loosen up and now I'm here. They gave me a bunch of nasty drinks and now I'm all...loopy." Mack finished explaining with a nod. Her words came out of her mouth quickly, she wasn't sure where all of this energy was coming from but if anything she was optimistic which was a good thing. "Aarooooooooon," Mack whined as he said that he was teasing her, "that's not very nice, although I'll let it slide because you said that I'm cute." Mack said with a smirk. "Just this time, though, mister!" She giggled as she tapped the tip of his nose with her finger.
Aaron sighed softly when she talked about how things with Bella were going. He had thoguht that they were getting along, but now maybe they were since they had /just/ hung out? He just didn't understand women. "You're not loopy...whatever that is. You're just a little drunk." He said letting out a laugh after he had figured out everything she had said. She was seriousy drunk, like he coudl barely understand what she was saying which was a normal thing when you got drunk for the first time. "Okay, okay. My apologies! No more teasing." He scrunched up his nose as she tapped it with her finger. "But yes, you're really cute and adorable. But that's all the time really."
"Drunk?" Mack asked in disbelief as she gasped. As far as she could remember, Bella and Mia had just shoved drinks in Mack's face without telling her what they were. Mack had quickly grown tired of it and accepted them, it was a given that this would be result. "Oh, no no. I don't think so, I don't drink." Mack said, sounding proud of herself as she lifted her chin and closed her eyes. She peered up at him through her long lashes, not being able to help but laugh as he scrunched up his nose. "Apology accepted." She nodded lightly as she crawled into his lap. She hummed softly as she made herself comfortable, then tilting her head up to look at him. "D-Do you say things like that on purpose to get me to blush?" Mack asked, raising her eyebrows at him. "Because it works and it's just not fair." She grumbled, biting down on her bottom lip as her eyes remained on him.
Aaron raised an eyebrow, but couldn't help but grin as she spoke up once again. "I know that, babe. But you are indeed drunk. I believe my sister and Bella got you drunk somehow. Tell me something, weren't you drinking with them while all of you were having fun?" He asked, talking as if there was nothign wrong with her situation because truth be told, this wasn't her fault and it wasn't like this was the end of the world. Aaorn did this way too much, it was only now that he had slowed down on the drinking and the partying. Not that he didn't do it, he just didn't do it a lot. Smiling as she crawled into his lap, Aaron wrapped one of his arms around her and grinned at her question. "I say them because it's the truth, of course." He kissed her cheek quickly. "You blushing is just a bonus."
Mack's eyebrows furrowed as he spoke, explaining to her that she was very much drunk. "I-I don't really know, they kept giving me all these--Oh my." Mack stopped mid sentence, her eyes widening as she brought a hand to cup over her mouth. Leaning closer to him, she removed her hand and lowered her voice as if to tell him a secret. "A-Aaron, I think I'm drunk." She whispered before backing away, giggling as she shook her head. Using her finger to trace imaginary shapes on his chest, her eyes flickered from her finger up to him. "You're just like..perfect and it's not fair. Not fair at all."
Aaron watched as she finally or almost realized that she was actually drunk with a smile playing on his lips because all of her reactions were like the opposite of what she would have done while being sober. He laughed lightly when she leaned in to whisper that she /thought/ she was drunk and Aaron simply nodded as she giggled. "Yes, love. You are drunk, it's as unexpected to me as it is to you but you like you're enjoying yourself so i think we're good." His smile was almost permanent on his face by this point because she was completely adorable even she was drunk. Laughing lightly as she traced lines with her finger on her chest, Aaron looked up at her eyes. "Oh gosh. I'm sorry I'm not trying to be unfair. It's not my intention.
Groaning, she rested her head against his chest and huffed loudly. "Welllllllll," Mack began, taking some of her hair in her hands to play with it almost as if a child would. "It's only because I'm with you, you know. T-There were lots of gross guys at that bar, I just wanted to be with you. Now look! Here I am, with you!" Mack giggled loudly, her eyes flickering from her brunette locks up to him. Since Mack had never been to clubs before, going with Mia and Bella was something completely new to her. It wasn't her cup of tea, which was probably why the two had gotten her to drink so much. "Y-You're so sweet, I wish there were more people like you. Then again, I'm glad that there aren't, it just makes you that much more special." Mack rambled, grabbing his hand to play with his fingers gently.
Aaron grinned as she placed her head on his chest, completely amused by her entire behavior as he too started running his fingers through her light brown hair absently, his eyes not leaving her face as she spoke. "Mhm. Yes, you are here with me. It's really nice, I love it when you're with me. Because you are also like my favorite person in the world and I don't know what you're talking about me being unfair, when you're extremely unfair too, missy!" Aaron laughed, letting her play with his fingers. He was almost in shock that Mack had somehow actually went to a bar but he wasn't all that surprised because he knew Bella and Mia and yes, they had a way to convince you to do this sort of thing, especially Bella. Aaron was pretty good at t too, but he had never even thought about using it on Mack. "/You/ are sweet because you're saying all of that. I do feel really special when I'm with you though, that's true." He replied, kissing her forehead.
"What?" Mack squeaked as she lifted her head from his chest, looking at him with a puzzled look. "How am /I/ being unfair?" Mack was eager to hear his answer, given that she had said the same thing to him only seconds ago. Mack's cheeks were beginning to hurt from smiling so much, but if was definitely worth it. Wrapping one of her arms around his neck to pull herself closer to him, Mack felt her cheeks heat up at what he said next. She didn't bother to try and hide it since she was oblivious to it, given that her mind was everywhere at once. "You're always trying to one up me." Mack pouted, crossing her arms over her chest
"You're extremely unfair all the time, Becks. Because you're perfect too! And you are always so good to me. And you also always look at me this way, okay? You're actually doing it right now." Aaron grinned at her confused expression as he looked down at her and then it turned into a smile as she pulled herself closer to him, one of his hands running up and down her back gently. "Why are you pouting? You always manage to one up me, let me win for once!" He laughed, trying to move her arms with his hands gently and leaning down to kiss her cheek
Mack's eyes locked with his, smile permanent on her face as she heard his words. It was still enough to make her heart beat faster and the butterflies erupted in her stomach once again. "I-I never ever everrrrrrrrr want to be with anyone else but you." Mack slurred, playing with his hair with an amused look on her face. "You know that?" Mack asked, leaning forward to peck his lips quickly. "Nuh-uh! You won the last time!" Mack retorted, not even sure if what she was saying was true but in her head it sounded right.
Smiling widely as she talked, Aaron nodded at her easily. Everyone would probably think it was silly of them to talk about something like this when tehy were eighteen and they would probably blame it on the alcohol, but Aaron knew better because this wasn't the first time that they had mentioned it and he really did see himself with Mack for the rest of his life. "Yes, I do know that, gorgeous." Aaron smiled, pecking her lips back and sighing contently as he wrapped his arms around her petite frame. "I did not! You said we were even and now you're starting it again!" He replied playfully.
Mack was relieved to hear that he was aware of what she was saying, although it was expected since the two had previously talked about it. "Good! Because I mean...you should probably be aware of that, right?" Mack hiccuped once again, pressing her body against his as she felt his arms wrap around her body. "I am?" Mack asked, her eyebrows furrowing in confusion before she nodded. "I am! Oops." Giggling, Mack brought her hands over both of her cheeks. "M-My cheeks hurt from smiling so much, you always do this to meeeee. First my feet and now my cheeks. Oh my, I'm falling apart!"
"Should I be aware of you wanting to spend the rest of our lives together? Yeah, of course. I want the same thing and it's gonna happen, babe. You know that, right?" Aaron laughed lightly at her little hiccup, running a hand down her face gently, caressing her cheek. She was so out of it, Aaron didn't even know how much she had to drink to act like this. "It's okay though, because we just stopped it." He teased with a smirk but burst out laughing when she talked again. No tonly was it completely adorable but it was also so crazy as well, Aaron wondered if he had said half the crazy things that she was saying. "Don't worry, baby. If you fall apart, I'll put you back together." He said, still laughing lightly as he shook his head.
Mack's eyes lit up as he elaborated. Despite her drunken state, she could still comprehend what he was saying and it meant the world to her. It was all she wanted. "Pinky sweeear?" Mack asked, lifting her pinky as her eyes remained locked with his. Laughing just as he had, Mack placed a hand over her chest and sighed loudly in relief at his words. "You're the bestest boyfriend ever." Mack said through her laughs, taking his hands in hers to lace their fingers together.
Without even a second thought, Aaron extended his pinky and locked it with hers, looking at her eyes. She was probably not going to remember most of this in the morning but Aaron still did it because it was the truth. "I pinky swear." He smiled at her. "And now you're stuck with me for good. You can't break a pinky promise, Becks!" Aaron pecked her lips quickly and laughed for a little bit longer at ehr reaction to his words. He was honestly going to remember tonight for so long after all of this. "Well, thank you. I do try, babe.
"I'm glad you don't think it's a bad thing for sure." Aaron replied, a grin playing on his lips as he looked down at her, his eyes softening at her next words. He really did try though, he tried extremely hard for her. Sure, most thigns came natural to him like these moments and treating her well, but he had been trying to be better since they had started dating. "Oh, thank you. I like them too. But I love your eyes, they're not boring at all. I love everything about you though." He said smiling as he played with her fingers.
"That'd be silly and it just wouldn't make any sense at all, would it?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow. Mack hummed softly as comfortable silence surrounded the two. She was extremely content given her situation. Sure, she was drunk, but she had nothing to worry about since she was with Aaron. Peering up at him as she spoke up, Mack nodded lightly and giggled softly as she heard his compliment. Placing a gentle kiss against his neck, she lifted her head to look at him. "You don't have to thank me, it's pretty obvious that it's the truth, after all. Thank /you/! What a coincidence because I love everything about you too. I think this is why we work so well together, Aaron."
"Goodness. Yeah, you're probably right." Aaron laughed because even when she was drunk, she managed to make way more sense than he did now that he was completely sober. He was relieved that Mack only was hyper and a little bit of a rambling mess while she was drunk, he had experiences with girls that just turned into something completely crazy. But Mack was still sweet, the one difference was that she apparently didn't have any filter. Smiling as Mack kissed his neck, he looked down at her and nodded. "I think so too, Mack. And because I love you a lot. Did you know that?" He asked playfully, kissing her nose.
"If I did think it was a bad thing, then we'd be in trouble. But luckily I don't, so we have absolutely nothing to worry about." Mack said, sounding confident as ever . Mack was pleased to see such a positive response from Aaron although she was drunk. Not that she expected him to be angry, if anything she knew that he'd be upset with Mia and Bella since they'd been the ones that had gotten her to drink. "Hm, of course I do. How could I forget the thing that makes me the luckiest girl in the whole wide wooooorld?"
"Yes. Thank god for that." Aaron was definitely amused now that he was with Mack, but only because she was safe here with him and she looked like she wasn't worrying about anything which meant the world to him. Mack had been through hell since the moment they had met, all the usual drama at Riverdale, then going back to being basically bullied and just weeks ago everything that had went down with him and Alex. Aaron sort of blamed himself for most of it too and not to mention that she had been bullied a lot before he had met her, so it was nice to see her so...carefree. In no way did he want her to be like this everyday and she was probably going to regret it the next morning but he decided that this wasn't her fault and he might as well let her enjoy it. Grinning down at her, Aaron's eyes softened at her words. He loved knowing that she knew how much he loved her. "I think that's why we work together so well too babe. We both know we love each other. We know there's no one else for the other..." He said softly
Mack was finally worry-free for the first time in what seemed like forever. She had been at ease most of the time, but there were always worries that seemed to pester her. The most recent event that had taken a toll on her had been Alex's leave and his harsh words to her when she hadn't done a thing to him. It seemed to Mack that no matter what she did, people would always find a reason to yell at her or be crude and there was nothing that she could do about it. She was finally coming to terms with it, though. Aaron and few select others were all that she needed, she was convinced Which was why she was that much more thankful for those people in her life. "D-Do some couples not know that they love each other?" Mack asked curiously, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion.
Aaron shrugged lightly at her question. Truth be told, he didn't see a lot of couples that were as close as they were but then agan, who was he to judge anyone else's relationship? This was his first actual relationship, the first time that he had put work into being with someone else because eh cared so much about Mack. "I...I don't know." He replied, biting down on his lip as he looked down at her. "I think that...we just really trust each other and that's really important and I haven't seen it in a lot of couples but I am not an expert babe."
Mack nodded lightly at his words, almost as if a child learning something completely new. It was obvious to her that other couples weren't like Mack and Aaron. The couples at Riverdale were proof of that. She was glad that she could find someone like Aaron, though. Someone that she was convinced was her other half. "That must be terrible, then! I'd be absolutely miserable."
Aaron nodded lightly at her words. It meant a lot to him taht seh had trusted him since day one. Mack had went along with so many things, she had even basically stole a limo with him the first time they had actually hung out. Aaron had never fel so trusted in his life, and he was sure that this was part of why he had felt good around her. "I know...It must suck. I can't picture us being like, jealous all the time or hiding things from each other.." He said smiling down at her. "Anyway...you and Bella and Mia seemed to be all getting along. I am glad you had fun or that you're still having fun
" That just wouldn't do. How does a relationship like that even work?" Mack wasn't expecting an answer, she was just surprised that people did things like that around the ones that they claim to love. Mack bit down on her bottom lip as she heard what he said, shrugging her shoulders lightly. "I-I'm very different from them, their definition of fun isn't the same as mine by any means." It was true, Mack still wasn't certain that Bella like her because it seemed as if their personalities clashed. "I'm having much more fun now! The place we went to was all dark and the music was really loud. There were lots of people. Lots of very very tall people. So can you imagine how I felt? Look how little I am!"
Aaron only shrugged at her question since he really didn't ahve an answer for her. He figured that not everyone was lucky enough to have such strong feelings for someone and to be so sure of how they felt about you, he was indeed so very lucky to have found Mack already. He didn't ahve go through any type of useless relationship drama, because they rarely ever argued. And when they did it was over actually important things. "I know. You're different from everyone here, which makes you really special." Aaron replied grinning. He had yet to meet someone that was even a littlebit like Mack, she was just too good to be true in Aaron's eyes. Laughing lightly at her next words, Aaron nodded. "Yeah, that's definitely not a cool place for both of us, tiny people. Especially you!"
"There's no one at this school and I'm convinced that there's no one in this world like you! That makes you so so special." Mack smiled widely, meaning every word. Relationships were never even something that had came to Mack's mind previously, but by this point her view was completely different. She had found someone that she was ready to settle down with a spend the rest of her life with. Never in a million years would she had expected that. "Oh, I know! We are rather short, huh? That's okay. You're perfect for me so of course you're the perfect height! If you were super tall do you know how hard thy would be on me? My dad was super tall and he was scary."
Aaron laughed. "You stop stealing my words, you sneaky little thing. You have no right." He teased with a smirk, laughing a little when he saw how happy she looked. A happy Mack made a happy Aaron which was why he couldn't find it in himself to be mad about her drinking, at least right now. Nodding lightly at her words, Aaron smiled when she continued talking because she was indeed right, she was perfect for him too. Perfect height, perfect personality, perfect everything. But he frowned slightly at the mention of her dad, since she never talked about this sort of thing. "Yes, we're perfect for each other, babe. I'm sorry that your dad scared you though. You're safe now. With me, I'm always gonna take care of you, no matter what."
"Nooope, they're not /yours/, silly." Mack giggled as she pecked the top of his nose. "It's okay, he called the other day and it didn't end too well. He's gone now which means I get to be with you! Your family is so amazing, you know that? You guys are like...perfect. My house was /never/ like that." Shaking her head light, Mack hadn't realized everything that she was saying because her filter was Jon existent by this point. The words rushed from her mouth just as they'd entered her mind. "Thank you, that means so much to me."
Laughing lightly, Aaron nodded and then stayed quiet to listen to her. This was like the first time that seh was talking about this to him, she had done it once and it was because Aaron had almost pushed her to the point where she was crying. That had ended up on her giving up on her parents for him so Aaron honestly didn't blame him for not talking to him about it, it just sucked that she was drunk while she said all of this. "I'm glad you like my family. Because it's your family now. You are like a Hendrix now, everyone loves you." Aaron said softly, his forehead resting against hers. "Do you want to talk about what your dad said?" He asked softly, not knowing if he should just let it go or try to make her feel better even if she didn't look sad at all right now.
"I..I like my family a lot now, a whole lot." Mack said with a grin, as her forehead leaned against his. Her eyes locked with his as she pulled her bottom lip into her mouth. Nodding lightly after they sat in silence for awhile, her drunken mind was ready to spill all. "H-He called and asked if I was regretting my decision of picking you yet. I, of course, said no. What else did he expect? Then he just screamed at me about how I made the biggest mistake in my life and how I was disowned from the family or something, I can't remember." Mack said with a shrug.
Aaron smiled at what she said about her family. He was glad that she knew that she was a part of his family. Beyond living with them, Mack was his girlfriend and he really was planning on spending the rest of his life with her, so it meant a lot to him that she knew how important she was. Not only to him, but to everyone else. Listening to her intently, Aaron nodded lightly and pecked her lips. She didn't look like this matter but it was probably because she was drunk so there was nothing that he could do right now. "Well, I'm sorry baby..."
"It's okay." Mack merely shrugged once again, wrapping her arms around his neck tightly as she rested her head on his shoulder. Tilting her head so that her head was able to lean her head against his. "Something very good came out of it."
Aaron didn't think it was okay. He had always felt a little guilty because of how thigns had went down, but at the same time he felt like this was right. Mack was obviously sad about not being able to be with her parents, even though they had been nothing but horrible to her, at least from what he knew. He just didn't know how to feel about the whole thing. "It did...I got you all to myself." He said grinning, leaning against hers as well.
Mack giggled, her fingers fingers fumbling with the hairs on the nape of his neck. Explaining what happened with Aaron had no effect on her right now. She had meant to tell him, feeling as if he deserved to know, but there never seemed to be a time when it was appropriate. Mack only hoped that her father would stay in upstate New York and not attempt to come and take Mack away from Aaron. He would only fail but the thought of being pulled away from Aaron scared her. "I looooove you, Aarooooooon." Mack slurred as her eyes closed, the smile remaining on her face.
"And I loooooooove you, Beeeeeecks." He responded, grinning and sighing contently as he wrapped his arms around her. Aaron kissed the side of her head a couple of times, his hands running up and down her sides slowly. "And don't you dare say that you love me more, missy! We're not gonna start with that." He laughed, poking her side playfully.
Mack opened her mouth to say that she loved him more but closed it at his neck words. Her eyes widened and she nodded quickly, "Oh, yes! You're right! We're not going to because we love each other equally." It was the truth. Mack didn't feel that one loved each other more than the other, their feeling were mutual and words would not describe how much they loved each other by this point. Jumping as she poked her side, Mack giggled since it was where she was most ticklish. "Don't you start that! I will bring you doooown in a tickle fight, Hendrix."
"Mhmmm, exactly!" He replied with a nod. A mischievous grin played on his lips as she jumped when he poked her side and then it turned into a smirk at her words, his hands stopping at her sides as he arched an eyebrow. "Oh yes? Let's see how that goes, Mackie. I always win!" He teased, his fingers tickling her sides right away
"No, yo--" Mack began but was cut off as she felt his fingers at her sides. Her arms unwrapped from his neck so she could place them on his chest. She made an effort to push him off as her laughter filled the room, but all of her energy was put towards her laughter. "A-Aaron! N-No! I-I...I wasn't ready!" Mack manage to force out through her laughs, shaking her head quickly as her chest heaved up and down quickly.
Aaron laughed as he continued to tickle her sides, laughing even harder at her words. Her efforts to push him off her ony made him pull her closer. Suddenly stopping his fingers, he still held onto her waist to stop her from moving. "You weren't ready?!" He asked playfully, leaning in to peck her lips as he grinned. "You were the one who mentioned a tickle fight!"
When his fingers stopped moving at her sides, Mack's chest was heaving up and down quickly as she tried to get her breathing back to normal gain. Her lips were parted just barely, her hands moving to taking his hands from her sides to lace them with hers. Returning the quick kiss, Mack's eyes locked with his as she shook her head. "N-Never again."
Aaron laughed lightly as she seemed to be breathless after he stopped tickling her and he grinned when she grabbed his hands. He laced their fingers together and smiled at her. "Not so cocky about bringing me down on a tickle fight now huh, Becks?" He asked teasingly.
"I will never question your tickle game agaaaain." Mack said as she shook her was quickly, letting a loud sigh leave her lips as her heart was back to its normal pace. Their bodies were pressed against each other by this point, so she was able to nuzzle her face into the crook of his neck. Since she had calmed down, she felt just how cold it was in his dorm and her clothes didn't offer her much warmth either. Her arms wrapped around his neck as she shivered lightly. "Coooooold." She murmured, tilting her head to the side to look at him. "It's like they don't pay the heat bill! My room is always s-so cold and I just want cuddles but you're here and I'm in the girls dorms! It's such a long walk."
"I thought so!" He replied playfully, wrapping his arms around her and rubbing up and down her back gently. He grinned as she spoke up once again, finding it completely adorable how much she had rambled tonight because it wasn't like her at all.Laughing lightly, he shrugged. "But you could always just call me so I can walk over there, babe!" Aaron actually hadn't been feeling cold until she had said it was cold. He was practically wearing a t-shirt and boxers but he did have the covers on his lap and legs. "Here, come get under the covers with me. Do you want me to search one of my hoodies so you can get out of those clothes?" He asked, his hands rubbing up and down her arms now trying to warm her up.
"Then expect a call from me every night!" Mack said playfully, her words still slurring. Moving off of his lap, Mack moved next to him and crawled under the covers as her head rested on the pillow. She felt the warmth immediately, letting a content sigh leave her lips. "Oh, yes!" Mack nodded quickly, grinning up at him. "I have like..two or three of your hoodies in my room. Did you know? They're so waaaaarm.
" Aaron laughed, nodding. Letting her crawl under the covers, he got up from the bed and shivered. "Oh you do? So that's where they are!" He teased, letting out a small laugh. "Well shit. It is cold, you were right." He almost ran to the closet and searched around until he found one of his biggest hoodies. Walking back to his bed, he got under the covers quickly and handed her the hoodie. "Here, babe."
"Whoops." Mack said as she giggled. Nodding in agreement as he said it was cold, Mack hummed in agreement as she made herself comfortable. She watched as her boyfriend took quick steps to get to the closet, grinning as he did so. "Thank you so soooo much." Mack said as she said up. She quickly stripped down to her undergarments, not caring if Aaron saw or not since he'd seen her with less. She tossed her clothes to the floor and slipped the hoodie over her head, situating herself until she was comfortable once again.
"You are so very welcome." He said with a smile, leaning back against the bed header, raising an eyebrow as she stripped right there in front of him but not really caring since it wasn't the first time that he had seen her like this either. Bringing the covers up his body, he smiled at her. "How are you feeling, babe?" He asked out of curiosity as well as making sure that she wasn't feling sick already.
Mack leaned over to rest her head on his chest as an arm draped around his middle carelessly. She tilted her head up so she was able to look at him with a smile. She thought about his question for a moment, biting down on concentration. "I-I'm okay. Hm, the room is spinning a little. Oh, and my head! Yeah, my head. Owie."
Aaron wrapped his arm around her, his other hand grabbing hers and lacing their fingers together. He frowned as she explained how she felt, his hand running up and down her back soothingly. "Close your eyes for a moment and when you open them again, stare at me to see if we can't stop the room from spinning a little. I can't give you painkillers yet...so there's nothing we can do about the headache." He said softly, kissing her forehead.
Mack nodded lightly as she listened carefully to his directions. Just as he had instructed, Mack closed her eyes and fell silent for a moment. When her eyes finally fluttered open, her gaze adverted to only Aaron. It took a moment, but it worked. Nodding, she grinned up at him. "You should be a dooooctor." Mack murmured, not picking up on the fact that since he'd been drunk plenty of times he was probably an expert on all of this by now.
Aaron smiled as she opened her eyes, laughing lightly at her next words but nodded his head playfully at her. He started playing with her hair a little bit and grinned. "I don't think I have ever seen someone being so cute while being drunk. You are completely drunk and you are still adorable, I don't know how you do it." He teased, looking down at her.
"Really?" Mack asked with a grin, giggling as she felt him playing with her hair. "But you were really cute when you were cute! You're forgetting that, silly. I mean..you see yourself, right? It works, shhh." Mack said although he hadn't said anything, grinning widely at him. What she was saying probably wasn't making much sense but somehow in her head it made perfect sense.
"Oh but I barely remember that night. I just remember you laughed a lot...and that you said I was your favorite Hendrix. And then you told me I had said a few things but other than that, I barely remember." He explained with a grin, trying not to laugh becausre really, she was starting to make no sense at all but she managed to make it look adorable and funny. "You're so funny tonight, babe."
"You are favorite Hendrix! Mia doesn't like that very much but I think she'll be okay." Mack said as she nodded. At the moment Mack couldn't say that she remembered much from that night either at this point but Aaron was her favorite hands down. "Funnier than you?" Mack asked with wide eyes.
Aaron grinned, nodding his head. "I think she'll be fine! She has her boyfriend to tell her that she's his favorite, after all, right?" He asked with a shrug as he looked back at her. Laughing lightly when she ased if she was funnier than him, he nodded. "I haven't stopped laughing since you walked in, haven't you noticed? I didn't know I was that funny, anyway..."
"Yes, exactly! Even though I think you're his favorite too, remember he said so on twitter! Drake is already enough competition, I don't need to add him to the list." Mack said seriously, her bottom lip poking into a pout as her eyebrows furrowed. However, Mack grinned again as she heard his laugh. She always did. "Oh my, well thank you! You are, you reaaaaaally are. You told me so when we first met, I'm pretty sure."
"Oh right, he did! But that was probably just because I understood his joke." Aaron laughed agaisnt at what followed her words, not only because of her words but because she was so serious about it. "Oh god, like I could ever like any of them over you! You have me wrapped around your little finger adn you know it." He said playfully, leaning down to kiss her forehead. He shrugged lightly. "I probably did. That's very possible, but I was probably just being a cocky weirdo and trying to impress you somehow."
"Oh." Mack said, letting what he said run back in her mind a few times. "I do, don't I? That makes me pretty lucky if you as me!" Giggling softly, Mack cuddled closer into him and hummed in content as he kissed her forehead. "You weren't a weirdo! I didn't even think I noticed that you were trying to impress me because I was so focused on not making a fool out of myself. I liked you a lot, I still do!" Mack's eyes seemed to widen as she spoke with as fast as she was talking, clearly still hyper
Aaron nodded. "Mhmm. Yes you do!" He replied easily. These were the sort of things that would also tell her when she was sober so he didn't have a problem with saying all of this now. He listened to her intently, tilting his head. Aaron had talked about his first impression of her before but he couldn't remember if she had and it was exciting to hear this. "Really? I thought you were so cool right away. Because you were nothing like the girls I always hung out with. So I just didn't know what to do!" He said seriously, his eyes locked with hers.
"You did?" Mack asked, shock evident in her voice. The two had gotten along from the start, so it always fascinated Mack to hear about their first impressions of each other. "Oh, no! I wish. You did make it really easy for me, though. Everything with you was easy. Like, I never felt like I had to be someone I wasn't. No one should ever have to feel that way. Even now you haven't judged me a bit. Although you did look at me like I was crazy when I said if never drank, but look at me now!" Mack said, bursting out into laughter as she brought a hand up to cup her mouth.
Aaron nodded slowly after she asked if he had actually thought that and listened to everything she said. They had come a long way from the first time they talked and Aaron couldn't even believe that all of that had happened not so long ago and that his life had changed almost completely in the last few months. "Oh I was really surprised by that. You were really surprising for me. It was insane. Like when you just went along with stealing that limo? That was insane. I don't know I just wasn't expecting you to do all of that." He cup her face with his free hand, grinning. "I know you went from not drinking at all to being drunk. We're such a bad influence!" He laughed, shaking his head to himself.
“You knew what you were doing, though! Or at least you seemed like it. Like a professional limo stealer, mhm."Mack said, using words that weren't even considered words which was completely unlike her. Mack raised a hand to overlap his, her thumb running along the back of his hand gently as she grinned up at him. It was extremely amusing to Mack that she seemed to be the complete opposite as when they had first met. Not that it was a bad change, Aaron had honestly brought out the best in Mack and she was thankful for that. "It's not my fault! Blame Mia and Bella!" She exclaimed, holding her hands up in defense.
Laughing, Aaron shook his head. "It was the first time I stole a limo! I told you, I was just trying to impress you and I guess that I thought it'd be cool? I don't really know. I'm just glad it worked because somehow you kept talking and coming to me." Aaron said smiling down at her. He couldn't really make himself care about her getting drunk and who's fault it was because she was okay and happy. He was sure that he'd get pissed the next morning and Mack would probably feel horrible but they'd deal with that later when they woke up. "Oh I blame Amelia and Bella completely! We're gonna have an interesting talk when I see them next."
"It most definitely did work." Mack said with a nod before explaining, "it was one of the best nights of my life. You were so different from any of the boys I had met or anyone for that matter. I felt so comfortable around you even though we had just met. Oh! And you didn't pressure me to do anything that I didn't want to, most people don't really do that. Especially kids our age." Mack rambled, closing her eyes as she spoke to focus completely on her words. "Uh-oh, they're in troooooooooooouble." Mack said in a sing-song tone, giggling.
"It was one of the best nights of my life too, actually. I think that the only one that tops it is homecoming night. Because I got to tell you how I felt about you. God I was so scared of our reaction that night. I feel silly." He laughed, shaking his head a little. "And I've never felt like I had to be someone else with you either." He said leaning down to peck the tip of her nose as se closed his eyes. Aaron laughed as she giggled but nodded. "Oh yes they are. I hope they know that."
"Oh, yes! That too, for sure. Were you really? I thought it was so, so obvious that I liked you! If anything it was the biggest relief of my life to know for sure that you felt the same way." Mack admitted truthfully, playing with his fingers gently as her eyes became fixated on them. "Well, I'm glad to hear that. It's not a very good relationship if you're pretending to be someone else, right? I couldn't even imagine that, it must be tiring." Nodding in agreement, Mack couldn't help but laugh again. "Bella said it's going to take more than "big eyebrows and a sassy attitude to scare her"." She recalled, shaking her head lightly.
Aaron shrugged a little, not really knowing what to say. He could be a little insecure sometimes, especially back then. "I knew you liked me but I told that I was in love with you that night, that was different, babe." He looked down at their tangled fingers and nodded again at her next words. Aaron figured that was probably why he hadn't been with anyone else before, not like this. He laughed at her next words, shaking his head. "That does sound like something she'd say, butI can assure you she won't be happy after our talk." He replied with a shrug.
"You know, I think we've always felt the same way about each other now that I think about it." Mack murmured softly, her eyes flickering from their hands up to his face. Finally, since she'd arrived at Aaron's dorm, she felt her energy slowing down. Her normal quick movements had slowed as well as her voice. "I bet! You can be very intimidating, you know that?" Mack raised an eyebrow at him, remembering clearly when she'd previously seen Aaron fight or get into arguments.
Aaron smiled at her words. It was probably true, they seemed to be in perfect sync, even when it came to this. They managed to be always on the same page somehow even if they were entirely too different. "I think so too." His eyebrows furrowed together at her next words though. In no way did he want her to be scared of him because he would never hurt her. He knew though, that he said and did a lot of things he didn't mean when he lost his temper an he hated when she saw him like that, because he hated when he behaved like that. "I know...I'm sorry if I have scared you...or anything." He said, looking seriously at her eyes.
Mack lifted her head to look up at him, her eyes softening at his words. Aaron had never scared Mack and honestly, she didn't think that he would ever be able to. She knew Aaron better than anyone and by this point, like the back of her hand. If Aaron had ever lost his temper in front of her, which he had, she always knew that it was for a valid reason. Unlike Alex, Mack never feared that Aaron would loose his temper and lay his hands on her. She could never in a million years imagine that. "No, don't say that. You have never ever scared me and sorry to break it to you, I'm not all too sure that you will. You've always lost your temper for valid reasons. Besides, you're...sexy when you're mad." Mack murmured as she closed her eyes once again.
Aaron almost sighed in relief as she started talking. He didn't want her to think that he'd ever hurt her because there was no way that he would. And he knew that she wasn't lying, he remembered now very clearly that when he had fought with Alex, she hadn't even hesitated to stand right in front of him as he was basically seething and she hadn't showed any sign of being scared by him. He had only noticed it now and it meant the world to him. He smirked a little after she finished talking. "Oh goodness. Thank you, babe. And...I know you aren't." Aaron nodded. "It really means a lot to me that you trust me enough...even when I get like that."
"You wouldn't hurt me. Eveeeeeeeeeeeer. I know that, therefore I have absolutely nothing to be scared of! If anything I'm scared for the other guys, you fight really well. At least I'm guessing you do, I'm not an expert. You always seem to know what you're doing." Mack explained as she nuzzled her face into the crook of his neck. The words left Mack's mouth easily without a second thought. Just as Aaron was when he was drunk, Mack had no filter what so ever. Not that it was a bad thing, if anything it helped to clear her mind. She had nothing to hide from Aaron, anyways, which was why their conversations had felt so effortless for her.
Aaron nodded and then shrugged a little. "Umm...I'm not really a fighter...I just don't stop to think about it when I'm angry. I usually end up pretty messed up when I fight anyway 'cause I'm little compared to most guys, you know." He shrugged again as he talked, thankful that she seemed to know him well enough. Well, truth be told, Mack probably knew him better than anyone by this point. "Are you tired, babe?"
"You still hold your own really well, though. I think. I mean, I've seen some other boys fight around campus and half the time they just punch air! Like they just miss...completely." It was Riverdale, so Mack had seen quite a few fights by this point which was a given. Girls, boys, even a few boys and girls arguing to the point of putting their hands on each other. Nodding lightly at his question, Mack hummed against his skin as her hand squeezed his gently.
Aaron laughed lightly, knowing that it was true. He had seen some pathetic fights at Riverdale as well. "Well, you know that you're really good when you aren't thinking and just doing..." He said, shrugging a little. Aaron moved until he was laying down beside her to be more comfortable. "You should sleep, baby. Tonight has been a long night for you." He said, kissing the top of her head.
"Yeah, that's true. For fights at least, probably not the best decision making process." Once Aaron was lying down next to her, Mack cuddled into him and wrapped an arm around his middle. She yawned softly, her eyes remaining closed. "Psh, I-I'm not..not even tired.." Mack murmured softly, sounding sleepy as ever before she quickly dozed off.
"Mhmmm. I'm not really good at that though. I'm a little impulsive...sometimes." Aaron explained, grinning. Cuddling up to her, Aaron sighed happily and smiled at her last words, looking down at her until he finally closed his eyes. "Goodnight, baby." He said softly as he let sleep take over.
