So tomorrow i gotta drop off my computer to a computer repair shop and at first i was kind of nervous, leaving a machine full of my personal things with a stranger, then i decided to view it as a perfect opportunity to screw with them just a little bit, or at least make them laugh. Most Tom fans are NOT hating on Mark or Travis. They are saying that blink-182, as a band, had a particular sound. Some of that sound was because of Tom DeLonge. Kick him out and the band’s sound/dynamic/songwriting changes. Tom has been in blink since day one so of course some fans are going to have issues with a new person in his place. Fans might not feel like it’s fair to call it “blink-182″ because a major part of what they enjoyed about the band is gone. 

I would hold this same argument if Mark was the one who left the band. It’s just not really blink without Mark or Tom.
