acting normal and being normal were two entirely different things that adora had no idea how to do. acting was a nightmare where she was ready to fail miserably but thankfully for her, she knew how to avoid authority but never knew how to avoid attention. for as long as she knew, eyes have always been on her. whether in the horde or with her friends, she has always had an audience and she didn’t know how to ghost it. she figured that it had to deal with being she-ra being her or her being she-ra, but she was slowly getting used to the sensation of people watching her. she just didn’t know how to act accordingly. “have you ever had hot chocolate?” she was in absolute awe and bliss, a new invention discovered and her eyes were practically bulging out of her head. “it’s where they melt cholate with either milk or hot water and oh my, i think i just experienced true love.”

belle blew gently over the top of her own hot chocolate, enjoying the smell of the cocoa wafting up. “i have had hot chocolate before, yes,” she smiled, endeared by her excitement. “i think you’ll have to get in line, hot chocolate has many suitors. she’s loved by many.” belle laughed. she wondered whether she should ask why they hadn’t had hot chocolate before … but figured that would be too presumptuous. nevertheless, her curiosity was getting the better of her. “…do you have any other favourite hot drinks?”
adora should have figured that people have had hot chocolate before but the idea never struck her mind. it was her first time sipping at the velvety liquid that exploded in flavors on the tongue. she wasn't necesarilly thinking about others (a first) but she was so overjoyed in this new invention that she figured out and she didn't want to finish. "the thing about lines is sometimes they could be cut." adora was not a patient person but she hopes the other catches it's a joke. she throws on a wink as if the other would catch her drift better but she isn't sure about a lot of things still. "i'm used to drinking tea, a lot of tea to be honest. but it really just tastes like dirt and wilted salad that's been washed for too long."
