I’m still struggling to get over the fact that the de Clermonts decided that the sneakiest way to avoid suspicion that Matthew & Baldwin were immortal vampires were to take on the super secret new surnames of Clairmont and Montclair respectively.

Hey, you should know that Facebook groups are stealing your gifs without credit. Namely the A Discovery of Witches - TV show fan group. I tried to give you credit but it's annoying that it keeps happening.

Thank you so much for your support, but I stopped fighting people like them a long time ago because it's exhausting. And at the moment I have no energy for this.

If you are someone currently in a Facebook group, PLEASE KNOW that it is considered extremely rude to steal someone’s work without credit and repost it. You are implying that it is YOUR work, and most of the people in the group will assume so as well. Just add a bit of credit. It takes almost no time. And yes, we see you doing it.

So it looks like Baldwin was recast

Bad news for Trystan Gravelle fans (myself included).

Teresa’s wrap-up post for Season 3 included a shot of this guy – Peter McDonald – in the background of a group photo:

Which is fine – could be Ransom or Timothy. Except that a few months back the makeup artist’s board indicated that someone named “Peter” was playing Baldwin. 

At the time, a few of us thought it might have been a mixup. But now with the confirmation that Peter McDonald is part of the cast, and this strange whiteboard shout-out… yeah, it looks like Trystan won’t be joining everyone in Season 3.

A huge bummer for those of us who loved his performance so far, especially since arguably the character gets the biggest payoff/time to shine in the third book/season.

I’m sure I’ll love Peter, too, but it’s probably another bittersweet reality of Covid that not everyone could make it back to film.
