I'm using a digitization of a 1930s pattern as my base for Cytherea, and it comes with a scan of the original one page (single sided) of instructions, because it assumes you already know how to do all the sewing things.

For example, modern pattern instructions usually tell you exactly how to finish each seam including which way to press it. This pattern gives you this:
