Brandy’s “Afrodisiac” album shoot, 2004.
one day, you will be able to say ‘i made it.’ and until then, i really want you to hold on to whatever it is that you dream of.
Remember that you can’t always see progress in action. One day you just look back and think ‘woah, I’m further than I thought’
Luxury
One message I think gets lost is the quest for luxury has an ultimate goal that is counter to today’s culture of “success.” Specifically, our quest for luxury has the end goal of an easy life. Our worries are minimal, we spend out days pursuing our passions or nothing at all, and we specifically don’t work hard.
The problem is we equate success with working hard. Therefore, working hard is admirable and not working is an embarrassment. Hard work becomes a part of the average person’s identity. “The Grind” is a valuable and respectable concept - it would be an embarrassment to be considered lazy or not working.
It’s the biggest sham that is spoon-fed to the proletariate class. Corporations WANT a dynamic where everyone wants to work hard. The wealthy love the poor mentality that they must constantly be working hard and doing multiple jobs with monetized hobbies because it justifies lower wages for ~ONE~ singular job - you should have multiple jobs and be “on the grind,” right? I digress.
Ultimately luxury is doing nothing. I don’t really want to work that hard on things I am passionless about. I don’t want my success to be hinged on regular, hard work. I want to enjoy my luxury. Yes, I’m ~working~ towards ultimate freedom, but with my freedom comes no work.
Just remember to take your head out of the “grind” culture and remember your upcoming and true luxury can and should be detached from hard work.

Text messages save me from sounding like a supercunt.
Me: Its $250.
ProspectiveCustomer: For only an hr? What are the limits?
Me: Yes. Backdoor is locked. ;) Haha.
ProspectiveCustomer: What if I just wanted oral both ways? Make you squirt. Still $250 for 30 minutes?
Me: It's $250. You're paying for my time, we could be knitting sweaters for up to an hour and it would still be $250.
ProspectiveCustomer: Haha damn, I like your attitude. It will be someday during this week, but I will text you in the morning and let you know for sure.
My 10 Essential Tips For The New Working Girl/Guy
1. The First Rule of Escorting is don’t talk about escorting. Seriously. Clients want discretion. Don’t be in the middle of Walmart “OKAY BOB SEE YOU TOMORROW AT THE HAMPTON FOR $400.” Common sense. The art of subtlety, if Bob calls while your in walmart, answer. “Oh that sounds wonderful, see you tomorrow.” Polite, discreet and to the point. He knows what your rate is, and he just told you where to meet. If not. “Okay sounds great. Where did you say?” *pause for answer* Great, see you then.“ Don’t ever use your clients real names on tumblr or facebook or twitter or myspace or anything except a blacklist or review/reference.
2.You’re a human being and you reserve the right to say'NO’.I don’t give a cheap fuck if they paid you, if they do something you don’t want or like or are uncomfortable with, its still rape. If you’ve been raped you can go to RAIIN they have an online hotline that’s 100% confidential and they can help you. Or you can tell me and I’ll go murder them and then take his dick and drop it at the police station. Or her uterus. Men can get raped too. And women who rape just disgust the absolute fuck out of me. Sorry, got off topic. I’ve never been sexually assaulted or abused but I know entirely too many people that I love have it happen/ed to them.
3.Get a phone. Pay your phone bill on time. Keep it charged and on and keep the GPS on. Get a car charger. Take your charger with you. This is important for obvious reasons. If shit goes wrong you can call someone. They sell tracfones at the Dollar store for $8.00 and you get 50 free minutes or some shit.
4. Lube is your best friend.Get some that tastesgood for when you have dry mouth, get some that feels good, and you’ll be golden. See your pussy only really gets worn out quickly doing this if you have a lot of dry sex. Condoms plus the fact that some clients aren’t very asthetically pleasing, contribute to this. Get some really good lubricant, WATER BASED ONLY. Oil based fucks up condoms and we don’t want that.
5.Either don’t wear perfume or carry a can of men’s spray deodorant.A good escort never let’s her client leave smelling like a woman. Or condoms for that matter. If you offer incalls at your home, let them shower and have some men’s soap or a bar of scentless soap they can wash with. Hygiene is important.
6. Always let someone know where you aregoing. People are fucking creepy okay. I’m creepy. You’re creepy. But there are some serious fucking psychos out there that will cut you into pieces and like put you in a pie and then fuck that pie, so let a friend know where you’re going and tell them to make sure you call them by a certain time. You don’t have to let them know what you are doing, just that your going out and want to be checked on later.
7. Try an agency first. They will take commission but teach you the ropes and how to do things the right way. And might introduce you to some awesome clientele.
8.Have a contingency plan.Make sure you have gas, oil, transmission, brake fluid and coolant regularly. Oh, and tire pressure, tread, and brakes. Seriously. If you don’t know this, you need to. Or get stranded in BFE for all I care. Make sure you have gas in your car. Put $100 on a Shell/Speedway/othergasstation gift card. Keep it with your registration in your car, you’ll forget about it and you will have emergency gas money. If you don’t have a car, make sure you have cab or towncar money.
9. Carry some sort ofweapon. Bear mace, Gun, Knife, Machete, Taser, Stun Gun, Baton, Pepper spray. Effing something to protect yourself. Don’t boast about it though or the dude will think you will rob him and may react violently, so don’t let them see it unless you have to. Kind of kills the mood.
10.Try to have fun.I have so much fun with my job. I meet new and interesting people and learn things every day. There are days that it is hard and I’m like WTF but those are few. There are people that do this that don’t fucking want to at all, respect that. Some are forced either by kidnap or circumstances. Treat everyone with respect. Treat you clients with care. They come to you for something that no one else can give them. For that hour or whatever, you’re everything that person has ever wanted. Take that and run with it and have fun and you’ll have a happy customer base.
Gahhhh. That took forever. But I think its some pretty good tips. I’ll probably make another installment with more, but this is all I can think of.
Keeping Regular Escort Clients
Keeping regular clients is one of the most important things you can do as an escort. When I was making $30000 a month as an escort before I retired, $25000 of that was from regular clients and $5000 was from random clients calling and booking an hour here or there. If I never had repeat escort clients and I always depended on seeing new clients, I would have never been able to scale back from seeing 5 clients a day to only 1 a day. Having regular clients who you can depend on seeing makes your job so much easier.
One of the easiest ways to turn a client from a one timer to a a regular client is by asking when you’re going to see them again. Tell them how much you enjoyed your time with them and let them know you’re dying to see them again. You’ll be surprised by how many clients actually ended up booking you again and again from just saying that. If I didn’t tell a client that (because I forgot) it was almost 50/50 on whether they would call me or not. If I told them something like
“Wow, I really loved our time together. When can we see each other again?”
They’d reply “Ummm, I’m not sure.. I’ll have to check”
“Of course, sorry I didn’t mean to put you on the spot… I just got a little excited! Would it be okay if I emailed you?”
If they agreed, I’d shoot them an email almost immediately from my blackberry saying how amazing they are and that I can’t wait for the next time. I’d keep in touch via email and it was almost 99% of them that I’d end up seeing again, and then again and again. Sure, it was aggressive on my part, but this is a business. If you can’t be a little pushy in order to get your foot in the door then you’re in the wrong business. There’s 1000s of escorts working in every city and if you offer a good service but can’t make the effort to keep in touch with clients then they will simply move on. But if you make that extra effort to keep in touch with them on a personal level it will extend your ROI on your advertising dollars.
It’s important to say though that if you’re disinterested in the conversation, in bed you’re lazy and unenthusiastic and then you try and keep in touch afterwards it’s not going to help you out. You need to make as strong of a connection with them as you can in your time together and then follow it up.
There are a lot of other ways to turn clients into regulars, but I think it’s just a lot of common sense. If someone books for an hour, stay for an hour and 15 minutes or an hour and a half. Don’t watch the clock. Be on time, every time. Make sure you’re always fresh. Cater to fantasies, wear school girl uniforms, bring handcuffs and a blindfold, remember your clients birthdays and special dates. All of this stuff builds up a relationship between you and your clients and the strong they feel your relationship with them is, the more likely they are to give you gifts, take you on trips, book you for 5 hours instead of 1 hour, etc.
The biggest problem you’re going to run into is your clients asking to see you off the clock. I would have two different responses to this.
One response was for clients whom I felt weren’t that wealthy and were looking for financial relief from our relationship.. I would simply tell them that I’m a very busy girl and I can’t afford to take time off the clock. I will clear my schedule for them any time because I prefer to spend time with them over any of my other clients, but I just can’t afford to make time for any man that’s off the clock cause I’m losing money twice. They usually get the idea.
My other response is if I feel they’re just looking for a deeper connection but they’re very wealthy. In that case I tell them I have the same types of feelings towards them and I’d like to see them off the clock as well, but I’d need to make sure that I’m being taken care of. If they agree I would ask them to take care of my monthly bills and let them know that you have other long time clients whom you cannot stop seeing, maybe at some point in the future but not now. So essentially if they’re willing to give me 5k a month, I’ll see them off the clock one or two times a week. I find this to be very mutually beneficial and if you can get 3-4 clients in this type of arrangement you’ll end up making a lot more than if you only stayed on the clock.
As I am writing this I am feeling that what I am saying involves a lot of deceit and cold heartedness and so I just want to take a moment to say that although it may come off that way, it was never my intention to be like that with any of my clients. Take for example your local corner store, if you go in there every day and buy a cup of coffee or whatever, and then one day you walk in and tell them you’re moving to the other side of town, they’re going to say “awww, that’s too bad – we’re going to miss you” They’re actually thinking shoot, we’re losing a regular customer. I know being an escort involves intimacy and so exchanging a hello and good bye on a daily basis with the owner of your local corner store is different then someone you’re having a sexual relationship with. However a business is a business, and a service provided is a service provided. You need to be able to care about your customers in an intimate way, but ultimately be able to take a step back and make decisions that are business orientated. I didn’t start escorting to fall in love with a client. I started escorting to make money and I never took my eyes off the goal.
My feeds are pretty solid because I’m blockhappy but thru friends I’m seeing women I used to respect, former sex workers, feminist band managers, the like,, talk about how it’s not sexual assault, if she didn’t want it she would have left, &c&c&c.
These two women sum up in under 300 characters things it takes me paragraphs to say.
If all this is new to you, think about it even tho it makes you uncomfortable.
If you work around sex, consent, or sexual assault, maybe they will help you articulate things you have trouble articulating. At the very least, I hope they make you feel more sane and less alone (they did me).
“However the Great majority of us have not had healthy introductions to sex and consent.”
THIS. This so much.
Also @sw-or-gtfo said this elsewhere but it’s short and to the point so I want to keep it with these: The “misread” or “bad at reading signals” phrasing bothers me so much, too. That account doesn’t depict a man who had any interest in signals at all. The prerequisite to miscommunication is communication, and she didn’t describe any attempts to communicate with her; she described commands being issued at her. It’s not that her signals were misinterpreted, it’s that they were irrelevant.
So many aspiring sugar babes dance around pots and waste their time with salt and their own lack of intuition, flail through a couple of dates talking big the whole time, and ultimately drop out of the bowl before learning anything or getting to a real payout. Realize that sugaring is sex work, and sex work is work.
One of the reasons why experienced SBs/escorts and other sex workers resent newbies is because so few actually get it and have what it takes to even make it out of the gate, and yet they are completely clueless about it.
Realize that you need to be extremely confident, quietly intuitive, lusted after by men everywhere you go, comfortable seducing a man 30 years your senior in public, and consistently sexually competent.
Clients can be politically repulsive, morally reprehensible, physically unattractive, and personally crude and offensive. And while they won’t all be like that if you’re lucky, have honed your intuition, and are good enough to be selective—especially when you are starting off, your job is to (1) stay safe and (2) get in, get the money, and get out. So dispel the romanticized notions about what your sugar daddy will be like and realize that you are going to have to kiss a few unpleasant, entitled, conservative, married, wrinkled frogs while you learn, level up, and refine your hustle.
If you could list the top 5 most important things to do to prepare for going independent what would they be?
1) Photos, they are you BEST advertisement, you want high quality photos and you want a lot of them so it’s indisputable that they are really you. Now pricing totally depends on where you are in the country but Groupon has really great deals on boudoir packages. I got 1200 worth of photos for 700 and they did all my styling and wardrobe which at the time made me want to cry but they have paid off like no other and I’ve realized their value. The better your photos the more “high class” you will look. Also if you’re leaving an agency you want to start fresh so you’ll need a whole new gallery.
2) A good website, this isn’t hard to do at all there are a lot of free escort website builders (they will have ads) or you can pay a fee to get your own domain and no ads, alternatively you can pay someone to build you a custom site but that’s a major investment I would wait until you are progressing to make that step. SELL YOURSELF on that website, make sure all your writing sounds amazing and makes you intriguing , these men are most likely only going to be spending a few hours with you but writing a bit about your hobbies and interests gives them a way to break the ice with conversation, find things in common with you, and build you up in their mind as their fantasy girl before the apt.
3) Boundaries, this is a really vague category because there are SO many boundaries you can set, not just sex wise (but those are important and you should have a list of your set NO NOs in mind). But having boundaries is important if you get someone that tries to press them before even meeting you it’s a sure sign of a bad apt. Last year I carried around THREE FUCKING PHONES a personal line a sugar line and a escort line I put in a lot of time and had to be so careful to not text family from the escort line or call a POT from my personal line. It was a lot of work and stress but I was also making 5 figures a month no problem. Now I just have my personal cell and my escort email, if a guy won’t respect the fact that I’m email only and presses it, I’ll cut contact. I’m also outcall only, I do not want to deal with the pressures of getting hotel rooms yet I still get at least one email a day asking where my incall is.
4) Set monetary goals/plans. So let’s say you want to make X amount each month, let’s say 5 k minimum and you are charging 500 an hour, so you need just 10 hours a month to make that goal! And at the end of the month you have had one overnight which you have a base fee of 2.5k, three 2 hours, and two 1 hours. Ta da you passed your goal but 1,000 of that is for rent and bills, 600 for maintenance: four mani-pedis, a blow out for your overnight, and a facial, 200 for your personal trainer/gym pass, 500 for eating out and drinks and another 100 for condoms, lube, hair-ties etc. and maybe 300 for new lingerie. 400 for transport if you don’t have a car. And the 400-500 that will inexplicably go missing ( this happens, accept it, you probably did something dumb with it when you were drunk? ) what are you going to do with the rest? Hide it all under your mattress? you can’t put it all int he bank eventually that will raise a red flag month after month, get a safety deposit box? You have to have this all thought out and honestly I’m still really bad at this.
5) Patience and Emotional Support, starting out indie will go one of two ways, you will have a boom and get a lot of clients and if you’re good be able to keep it up or more than likely you will wait days for emails, I was really lucky, having started with an agency I had a reputation and reviews people were searching for my indie account the second I left my agency but there are still weeks where I get one email if I’m lucky, they’re generally really easy to know the cause of, is it tax season? is christmas coming? People don’t go out to a fancy dinner when they’re broke they go out when they have extra money. You are the fancy dinner. As for emotional support start gauging who your SW friendly friends are you WILL need people to confide in, if you don’t have any put some of that new found money into seeing a sex worker friendly therapist, it will feel weird paying someone else by the hour in cash but trust me you need someone to talk to through this. EVERYONE bitches about their job and customers but sex workers don’t often get that luxury because of stigma so you need to find a safe outlet, and be very careful about who you trust, like SUPER fucking careful. Starting a tumblr is also a great outlet and resource for online friends, sometimes the anonymity is the only thing you CAN trust…
It only takes one, or two, or three or four good ones. Stay on your game. Hustle strong. One very rich man who happens to really like you can change your life… don’t worry about the people you don’t click with and don’t let rejection get you down. If he won’t give you the world, you haven’t met him yet.
If you ever see me married to/dating a white man just know the money is worth the sacrifice lol
