The warm bathing brook called to her, steam curled from it's surface.

She stood tall with a smile, the moonlight casting wan shadows on her naked form, chin  lifted  she  stepped  into  the  gentle  warmth  of  the  natural  spring,  pulling  a  long  silver  braid  forward  over  her  shoulder  where  it  swayed  by  her  bare  breast.  "I  have  dreamed  of  you,"  Tindómiel  repeated  as  she  dragged  her  fingertips  across  the  water's  surface,  her  eyes  never  left  his, wanting him to see her; all of her.  "The  race  of  Men  believes  our  dreams  allow  us  a  glimpse  into  our  subconscious  desires  ...  but  I  already  know  what  my  desires  are.  That  is  why  I  dream  of  it,"  the  water  crested  her  upper  thighs  as  she  smiled  at  Legolas  with  brazen  curiosity  —  "what  do  you  dream  of?"

𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐃Ó𝐌𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐇. immortal half-elf, daughter of elros tar-minyatur, king of númenor. kin of elrond  peredhel, vice-regent and herald of high king gil-galad, she is counted amongst the elves of lothlórien.

as a wanderer, similar to the wizard gandalf — who she will eventually meet and befriend — she travels, and will travel, throughout  the  lands  of  middle  earth,  obscuring  her  elfen  ears  and  adopting  the  alias  kelerel  when  interacting  with  the  race  of  men  (and some  dwarves),  though  she  will  not  meet  a  hobbit  until  after  SA500.

#𝐊𝐄𝐋𝐑𝐄𝐋 𝐀𝐋𝐑𝐘𝐄𝐍 𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐒, 𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒

Applicable to her non-Tolkien verses, essentially applicable to any universes that acknowledge magic. This lore, in its basic form, is based on her canon inspiriation from The Doomspell Trilogy. Contains core information relating to her appearance also.

SENTIENT SPELLS. Inside  the  mind  of  a  spellcaster  and  similar  magical  beings,  the  spells  they  learn  exist  individually  within  the  caster's  brain, co-existing as a part of the whole identity of the spellcaster (The exception to this system are corrupt  magic  users who  view  and treat their  spells  as  slaves, not equals.)   There  is  a  free  flow  of  communication  between  the  spells  and  the  casters,  whether  through  internal  dialogue  or  the  mingling  of  consciousness.  They  are  completely  sentient,  yet  non-corporeal,  beings  existing  within  the  caster's  mind.  No  two  iterations  of  spells  are  exactly  the  same even if their purpose is identical;  they  are  all  reflective  of  the individuality of  caster.  The  spells  are  always  working  to  protect  and  better  the  caster, and each other; certain spells can activate themselves to this effect. MAGIC EYES & APPEARANCE.  By  nature  of  being  a  magical  creature,  her  appearance  changes  slightly  and  often;  the  addition  of  freckles,  perhaps  face  shape,  height,  weight,  whether  by  whimsy  or  preference  or  necessity,  this  is  something  worth  noting.  Her  base  appearance  is  as  described, the  eye  colouring  she  doesn't  control  save  for  when  she  uses  a  glamour  or  concealment  spell. Her eyes constantly  change  depending  on  the  spell  she  is  using,  or  the  spell/s  that  is  most  present  in  her  mind.  there  can  be  more  than  one  colour  mixing. Most common are silver,  purple,  soft  bright  green,  magenta,  gold,  teal,  sky  blue. Colours and their respective spells detailed below. PRIMARY SKILLS:  Flight  &  levitation,  glamouring,  concealment,  full  conjuring,  enhanced  senses,  shifting (teleportation), detection (the seventh sense),  and  shapeshifting.  she  also  has  traditional  magical  lore  skills  such  as  elemental  magic,  offensive,  and  defensive  spells. Listed in further detail below.

HER MAGIC EYES, a list of the most common colours or hues and their spells. When casting a spell, or a combination of spells, or when spells wish to see through her eyes, the colour will flood through (or flash, if brief) her irises.

PRIMARY SKILLS. 

FLIGHT. The  simple  ability  of  levitation,  air  manipulation  and  wingless  flight.  the  height,  speed,  and  skill  depend  on  the  magic  user's  capability.

CONJURING. A  difficult  skill  to  master  depending  on  what  is  being  conjured. It  covers  everything  from  clothing  to  food,  with  the  exception  of  conjuring  up  the  dead.  It  is  the  essence  of  willing  something  into  existence. 

GLAMOUR. Altering  their  appearance  for  aesthetics,  as  well  as  for  function:  such  as  sprouting  wings  for  flying,  fins  or  gills  for  swimming,  etc.

CONCEALMENT. A  medium-level  but  common  skill,  taking  the  shape  of  anything  that  pleases  them;  though  this  is  only  a  visual  perception  change,  and  if  interacted  with/touched,  the  caster  will  be  revealed.  this  also  extends  to  general  invisibility  and  concealment  of  the  self  and,  if  skilled  enough,  others

OTHER. Heightened  human  senses,  speed  and  strength  through  magical  manipulation  of  self  or  environment,  long-life, agelessness  (beyond  other  magic  users),  language  acquisition,  healing  magic,  and  elemental  magic.

RARE SKILLS.

SPELLSPINNING.  The  ability  to  conceive  of,  design  and  weave  new  spells  into  the  fabric  of  magic  itself  as  they  see  fit. It takes great skill, concentration, and a boundless mind, the  last  known  Spellspinner  before  her  was  documented  as  existing  nearly  a  half a millennia  ago.

UNMAKING.  She is the first of her kind to have this ability. The  art  of  destroying  spells and even magic itself.  Once  destroyed  the  caster  of  that  spell  has  lost  it  forever,  and  can  never  cast  or  learn  that  spell  again. Unmaking a person is to obliterate their entire being, leaving no trace of existence behind, whilst unmaking someone's magic whilst leaving the body intact will render them a hollow shell devoid of sanity,  it  is  a  horrible  punishment  to  suffer  through.

THE SEVENTH SENSE. The  ability  to  sense  magic  over  vast  distances, through realms,  and  despite  time  passing,  presenting  as  a  scent  that  is  unique  to  each  magic  user. This is an expert way of tracking, and of assessing surroundings when combined with detection spells. 

SHIFTING.  Instant  teleportation  both  inter  or  extra-planetary, including through realms and even through time.  Most  others  utilise  flight as there is such a room for error and requires greater magic acquisition.

ALTERING. The  ability  to  enter  and  molecularly  manipulate  another  creature;  including  de-aging,  healing,  and  more. 

SHAPESHIFTING.  A  higher  level  skill  that  takes  much  practice  if  not  born  with  the  ability  innately;  to  shift  and  become  a  living  sentient  creature  for  prolonged  periods  (and  maintaining  that  form  for  years  if  skilled  enough).

The stench of Darkness and old evils twists through the otherwise pleasant air, and  the last minutes of fading  sunlight  streams  through  the  few  gaps  in  foliage  overhead.  She  deftly  leaps  and  speeds  through  the  woodlands.  Tindómiel  looses  two  arrows  ahead  of  her with practiced execution,  and  a  chittering  eerie  screech  follows  assuring  her  aim  is  true.  A  satisfied  smile  breeches  her  features  and  her  bow  is  switched  for  a  blade;  propelled  off  the  tree  trunk  and  by  her  natural  elfen  skill,  her  sword  divides  the  body  from  the  head  as  the  pursuit  continues.  Before  the  giant  spider's  corpse  fully  stills its twitching,  she  is  out  of  sight  and  bringing  up  the  flank  of  their  hunting  company.  It  is  no  great  distance,  for  an  elf,  to  travel  from  Lothlórien  and  give  aid  to  the  Mirkwood  elves  in  their  pursuit  of  the  Children  of Ungoliant.  Creatures  of  darkness  and  evil  still  slithered,  quiet  and  foul,  upon  Middle  Earth,  ever  since  since  the  rising  of  Sauron  in  the  Second  Age,  and  whilst  Mirkwood  does  not  need  her  help...  she  offers  it  readily  in  the  defence  of  all  the  elven  forest  realms  she  holds  so  dear  to  her.

Silver hair streams in the first whispers of evening, her sword, streaked with the dark blood of the giant spider, is held expertly at the ready. She  falls  into  a  swift  pace  in  stride  with  Legolas,  son  of  King  Thranduil,  and  out  of  the  corner  of  her  eye,  she  catches  his  pale  hues,  a  small  jolt  and  a  smile  travel  through  her  –  the  short  moment  broken  by  the  rustling  of  leaves  above;  her  head  tilts  upwards  to  scan  the  foliage  and  canopy  overhead.  Tindómiel  focusses  on  the  telltale  spiny  legs  of  a  giant  spider.   "Above  us!"  she  calls,  launching  herself  into  the  thick  boughs  of  the  ancient  trees  that  towered  upwards,  eyes  fixed  on  the  creature  that  now  attempted  to  evade  her,  a  fruitless  attempt.  The  stench  that  greets  Tindómiel's  nose,  when  her  blade  slices  off  the  rear  three  legs  and  spills  further  blood  upon  her  weapon,  is  sickening  —  the  lopsided  spider  loses  balance  and  tumbles  downwards  out  of  sight.  A  shocked  cry  leaves  her  lips  as  the  hair-raising  chittering  of  another  giant  spider  becomes  deafening  in  her  ear;  eight  legs  and  gnashing  fangs  pin  her  to  the  tree.  She  the  flat  of  her  blade  into  its  mouth  to  prevent  it  from  biting,  straining  with  exertion  as  she  attempts  to  gain  any  footing  in  the  spider's  thorax. for @laeconin

She  missed  the  way  the  trees  bowed  over  her,  the  way  the  Woodland  Realm  was  alive  with  life,  and  magic.  Though  part  of  her  felt  at  home  amongst  her  kind  and  some  kin  in  Lindon,  she  still  felt  called  to  the  ancient  woods  and  cool  breath  of  the  foliage  rushing  around  her.  She  would  return  there  again,  and  more  places,  once  her  visit  was  through.  For  her,  her  place  would  remain  amongst  the  trees  and  their  shepherds,  learning  about  the  lands  and  their  inhabitants,  wandering  and  watching…  should  the  lands  fall  into  peril.  After  all,  Morgoth's  lieutenant  was  still  being  hunted;  his  death  unconfirmed.  Some  believed  the  evil  to  be  quashed,  others  did  not,  and  Kelerel  —  Tindómiel,  as  the  elves  knew  her  as  —  found  herself  believing  that  evil  would  always  exist,  for  without  it  goodness  could  not  exist  in  turn.

Light  footsteps  carried  her  across  pristine  grounds  as  she  remembered  with  a  rush  how  it  felt  to  be  amongst  elfkind.  She  hadn't  returned  in  several  hundred  years,  not  properly,  but  the  memories  endured,  a  hand  laid  on  the  trunk  of  a  tree  older  than  many  of  the  members  of  the  race  of  men  she  had  met  in  her  wanderings.  Her  eyes  landed  on  the  profile  of  her  uncle,  Elrond,  who  —  like  her  —  had  chosen  the  gifts  of  immortality;  his  is  a  welcomed  face, handsome, familiar features,  and  a face  she  realised  she  had  somewhat  yearned  to  see  again. “Time  has  changed  the  landscape  of  the  world,  but  has  done  nothing  to  soften  such  seriousness,”  she  began  with  a  melodious  tone  to  her  opening  statement,  stepping  out  from  the  small  shadows  and  into  dappled  brightness  that  shone  all the brighter  when near  The  Great  Tree, and under it's   light  her  silver  hair  shone  like  the  starlight  she  was  named  after. #𝐓𝐎𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐄𝐍. tindómiel the wanderer, sometimes called kelerel.

she  is  the  second  child  and  only  daughter  of  elros  tar-minyatur,  who  was  also  a  half-elf  and  the  first  king  of  númenor,  the  elder  brother  of  lord  elrond;  the  ancestor  of  the  lords  of  andúnië  and  the  kings  of  númenor.  her  name  means  "morning  star"  from  the  quenya  tindome  ("twilight  of  dawn")  and  el  ("star"),  likely  chosen  due  to  her  starlight  hued  hair. 

born  in  the  SA62,  early  in second  age of  middle  earth.  whilst  little  is  known  of  her  life,  it  is  know  that  she  elected  to  be  counted  amongst  the  elves  rather  than  choose  a  mortal  life,  for  half  a  millennia  her  life  is  a  mystery  until  she  came  to  be  counted  amongst  the  silvan  elves  of  lórinand.  tindómiel  saw  the  war  of  the  last  alliance,  the  fall  of  sauron  and  the  loss  of  the  one  ring,  and how their  king  amdír  perished  in  that  battle  (SA  3430-SA  3433).

tindómiel  remains  a  large  supporter  of  celeborn  and  galadriel  as  lord  and  lady  of  lórien  after  the  king  perished.  in  the  early  third  age  of  middle-earth  she  sought  permission  from  the  lady  galadriel  to  venture  out  of  lorien  and  out  of  their  realms  to  explore  middle  earth.    she  began  to  do this  in  the  century  prior  to  the  wizard's  arrival  on  middle-earth  in  TA  1000,  tindómiel  is  half  a  century  younger  than  lord  eldron  of  rivendell  (who  is  her  uncle),  and  more  than  two  thousand  years  younger  than  lady  galadriel  of  lórien,  tindómiel  spent several  centuries  speaking  with  the  ents  during  her  life — as a wanderer, to blend in with the race of man, she obscures her ears and has adopted the name kelerel.

an  immortal  half-elf  of  the  house  of  elros,  a  pledged  follower  of  the  lord  and  lady  of  lórien,  a  half-elfen  wanderer. she  is  based  on  the  canon  unestablished  tindómiel  as  referenced  in  tolkien's  'unfinished  tales'  and  'the  nature  of  middle-earth.' 

AGE  REF:  at the beginning of rings of power she would be 1,430 years old, at  the  beginning  of  the  hobbit,  she  would  be  6,321  years  old,  at  the  beginning  of  the lord  of  the  rings  she  would  be  6,398  years  old.

kelerel  is  an  outcast and heir  of  her  realm — this is the realm of witches, located on a plane of existence called ool.   the witcher , dragonage , the inheritance cycle , general period drama with fantasy elememts

from  her  youth  she  was  the  unintented  rival  of  the  high  witch's  daughter,  dragwena,  in  innate  power  and  skill.  kel  was  challenged  to  a  contest  to  end  the  one-sided  rivalry  &  the  one  left  alive  at  the  end  was  to  be  left  the  undisputed  heir  to  the  realm  of  witches.  whilst  dragwena  was  the  named  heir  and  daughter  of  the  reigning  high  witch,  if another's natural  power  was  greater then the  strength  of their magic  would  always  supersede  the  claim  of  a  named  heir.

when  kelerel  emerged  victorious,  no  one  applauded.  the  high  witch  retaliated  at  the  death  and  defeat  of  her  daughter,  and  banished  kel  from  the  realm  of  witches... until  the  time  the  high  witch herself  died. only  then  would  the  banishment  unbind  itself  from  kelerel  and  allow  her  to  re-enter  her  home  realm, trying  before  this  time  would  result  in  her  death.  kelerel  has  no  control  over  the  laws  that  govern  her  people  nor  the  magic  in  her  blood, she is  unable  to  reject  the  title  of  heir  unless  she  is  willing  to  destroy  herself,  or  worse:  have  her  magic  ripped from her soul.

kelerel  has  been  traveling  lands  and  realms  for  almost  a  century and a half  since  the  banishment.  over this  time  has  stirred  up  rumours,  folklore,  religious  uprisings,  enthusiasm, terror, miracles,  and  confusion  as  she  goes.

to the loyalists of the heir, kelerel is a warrior. to the queen loyals, she is the witchbane. relentlessly pursued by a the high witch of her people for crimes during a war she did not start, incognito she keeps moving to keep alive, stepping into other worlds — even strange magic-less places where she learned live by the blade, and not through her powers. vikings , spartacus , the last kingdom , reign , general period drama without fantasy elements

in  her  world,  the  world  of  witches,  kelerel  holds  a  strange  and  dichotomic  title.  marked  by  the  laws  of  their  magic  she  is  a once in a generation witch with the skill to unmake magic and enchantments, yet perceived as the greatest threat to the royal high witch heebra and her daughter, the heir assumed.  her presumed  threat  to  the  heir  in  the  high  witch's  daughter,  dragwena,  triggered  a  catastrophic  chain of events.  the  previous  six  high  witches  had  been  kin,  by  luck  or  fate,  and  when  it  became  clear  that  kelerel  —  of  a  minor,  but  old  family  —  was  surpassing  the  strength  of  the  high  witch's  daughter…  turmoil  began. the witches of ool who had felt the dark change with heebra's rule saw this behaviour from the high queen and her daughter as an opportunity to take their revolt to the next level.

fourteen  years  of  infighting  and  undercover  tactics  drove  the realm into chaos,  causing  hundreds  of  casualties and widespread pain as the high queen conscripted her people and harnessed their power in the pursuit of destroying the 'threat' to her daughter. these  tensions  roiled over in a  battle  between  the  high  witch  daughter  and  kelerel  herself. kel, who had never wanted war nor the throne, attempted to diffuse the situation again... but to no avail — dragwena mercilessly slaughtered a quarter of kel's companions, laughing as she did so. without option, in  the  last  moments  of  the  fighting  kelerel  harnessed  the  spell  that  had marked her as a threat in the first place.  kelerel  launched the unmaking spell at  hebra's  daughter, obliterating her from existence.

two clear groups emerged from this death — a death which did not end the war — the factions known as the high queen loyals, following high queen heebra and the memory of her daughter dragwena and who consider kelerel an enemy of their kind, and the loyalists of the warrior who follow kelerel and support her actions in ending the line of tyranny that had beset their lands and corrupted their people's lives. the  wrath  of  the  high  witch  over  the  death  of  her  daughter  came  swiftly.  hebra  transformed  her  essence  into  a  sentient, thick grey  fog,  seeing  all,  hearing  all,  sensing  all, spreading through the realm of ool to track down her daughters killer.  with  no  physical  body  she  could  no  longer  travel  outside  of  the  realm  of  ool,  and  whilst  hebra  maintained  this  form  there  was  no  place  in  ool  for  kelerel  to  remain  safely. locked  in  a  stalemate,  kelerel capable of unmaking hebra and all her magic, and with with  the  high  witch  loyalists  calling  her  witchbane and placing bounties on her head,  and  her  own  followers  calling  her  a  warrior  —  there  was  no  choice  but  to  flee.

she  is  still  pursued  by  them,  and  unable  to  return  to  ool  until  the  assumed  natural  demise  of  the  high  witch  (or  until  one  of  the  remaining  loyalists  of  the  warrior  manages  to  slaughter  her),  at  that  time  kelerel  intends  return  to her home in hopes of helping rebuilding ool in the light of goodness, diplomacy, and leave behind the fearsome, monarchical dictatorship.

the witchbane + warrior of her people. she maintains her agelessness even outside of ool, so she never stays in one place (where aging is relevant to mortals) for more than five or six years. she is constantly moving, constantly outrunning consequences of a war she did not start and did not want.
