In Switzerland, On Thursday, more than 1000 people gathered for an unofficial football game in Lausanne, violating the coronavirus lockdown restrictions. Police were there, but there didn’t make any move.

Currently, the government has forbidden the mass gathering in the nation to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

A game was set in a party atmosphere of suburbs between Yverdon and Lausanne, says the RTS the Swiss public broadcaster. The crowd was generally between the ages of sixteen to twenty and had been invited to the match via messaging apps or social media. However, it is still doubtful whether the amateur or pro players were invited to the game or not, states RTS.

Police are now acting and looking into what is responsible for setting the football game during these critical days. Antoine Golay, the spokesperson of the city’s police, tells RTS, it was dangerous and counterproductive for the police officers to intercede that time given the gathering of huge number of people.

Golay further adds that, however, city police didn’t take action about amass; we can now realize that few of the people don’t feel any concern related to the epidemic.

The game was held in the city’s northern side. The spokesperson says that they knew that something was going on, but we were not sure about the exact location of the gathering. The health experts reported on Wednesday that COVID-19 is causing sudden strokes to healthy youngsters who are in the age of thirty to forty, before falling into a severe illness. The doctor says that patients don’t call directly on 911 and look for medical assistance, out of fear, as the hospitals are overflowing with virus patients. Several developing evidence claims that COVID-19 can cause blood clotting in different ways, which leads to cause strokes in patients.

Dr. Thomas Oxley, who is a neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai Health System, gave out some details about five patients, which he treated along with his colleagues and said that these five patients were below fifty and had minor coronavirus symptoms or not at all. Thomas further shared with CNN that COVID-19 seems to be creating blood clots in the large arteries, which causes a severe stroke.

He further stated that their reports suggest a seven-fold increase rate of sudden strokes in youngsters having novel coronavirus in the last two weeks. Most of these young people were either experiencing little symptoms or even not a single symptom at all, and nor had some medical history. All of them are tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Moreover, some medical experts also reported that people hesitate to visit a hospital or call 911 because of the fear of an outbreak.

Plus, Oxley says that his team wants to send a message to the public that they keep observing themselves for any of the virus symptoms and instantly call 911 if they experience any stroke. He stated that so far, doctors are advising people to call for only an ambulance if they feel high temperature or shortness of breath. The novel coronavirus has a lot of symptoms, including dry cough, high fever, shortness of breath, but it seems the medical officials have found another one i.e., stroke.
