Dinner with the Cody’s and playing footsy with Andrew under the table (you are NOT together) and he’s confused and has those big pleading eyes and pressed tight lips because he thinks you’re touching the wrong brother (maybe Craig is right next to him idk let’s not think too hard about table placement) even tho he likes you and wants you SO bad he wants you SOOOOO bad :(

and he’s trying to move his leg out of your way but you just chase him with your toes with a big smile on your face, looking right at him.

And his mind is racing because WHY would you be touching HIM! Why are you smiling all pretty with big soft eyes at HIM! Why does it seem like your foot reaches higher and higher up his leg ???? And oh no he’s kinda hard and he gets all clammy idk

He just abruptly gets up from the table and declares that he’s done!!!! (done eating) and he goes to his room where he can sit straight up on his bed with his hands nervously flexing at his sides and his dick painfully hard

when you sneak away you find him all squirmy and nervous and you lock the door behind and you ask him why he left and he’s like “did you know you were touching me?”

“Should’ve figured you’d already be in bed,” Sammy snickers as he comes into the bedroom. It startles you, just a bit. You’d been so locked in on your show that you hadn’t even heard him open the front door. He laughs a little bit when he sees you jump, grin widening when your surprise morphs into that soft easy smile he’s grown accustomed to. He’s already working off his duty belt, dropping it on the bench at the end of the bend, when he makes his way over to you. His fingers are quickly moving through the buttons of his shirt as he leans down to press a quick kiss to the side of your head.

Humming, you lean into the touch. “You’re home late.”

“It’s seven-thirty,” he says.

“Still late,” you say, sitting up more against the headboard before reaching for one of his hands still working at his shirt. He gives into you so easily, dropping like deadweight and letting you guide him away from the half-button shirt. You use the leverage to guide him back down with puckered lips. He concedes for a moment, but still manages to keep the kiss short and sweet. Ugh.

You’d been deprived of your man all day, and he wants to leave you Sammy-less still? Rude.

“I missed you,” you say with the most dramatic pout you can muster up.

“I missed you, too,” he laughs, kissing you quickly between the words. You reach up to cradle the side of his jaw in an attempt to keep him there, rather than let him run off to the bathroom like you know he’s planning.

“How was work?” you ask as you gently drag your nails along the scruff beginning to grow in.

“It was work,” he shrugs. “Sherman was being the same shit he always is.”

“Trouble in paradise?”

He scoffs out a laugh. “Not sure we ever made it to paradise, sweetheart.”

“Aw, are you and your husband in a fight?” you tease, stealing another kiss from him as you do.

“Yeah, yeah,” he grunts. “Good day for you?”

Nodding, you attempt to drag him even closer to you, only for him to stall when his lips brush yours.

“I need to shower,” he murmurs. He drops one knee onto the bed, still just leaning over you.

“In a minute,” you hum.Your fingers slide into the sweat-dried curls at the back of his head. The grunt he lets out is appreciative as much as it is pained.

“I’ve been sitting in a hot car all day, baby, c’mon,” he mumbles. He drops his forehead against yours, snorting slightly. “I know I stink.”

“It doesn’t bother me,” you say before trying to drag him into the deeper kiss you’ve been craving. Your tongue swipes along his bottom lip, but he manages to keep his composure long enough to pull back. You can feel the way you’re wearing him down, though. He has to place a hand on your shoulder to force himself back into an upright position. The deep breath he takes has a flicker of pride simmering through you. No matter how long you’d been together, you still loved to see the effect you had on him. How easily you get underneath his skin.

Blinking quickly, he seems to shake the ideas right out of his head as his tongue darts out to wet his lips.

“I’m gonna go shower,” he says slowly. “And you are more than welcome to join me.”

“I already showered,” you reply with the same jutted out bottom lip.

“Then stay here and watch your show,” he says. He undoes the last buttons of his shirt, leaving you to ogle the way his white undershirt clings to his biceps. “I’ll be done before you know it, okay?”

“Okay,” you say.

“Alright?” he asks and you can’t help but laugh.

“Alright,” you drag out and weakly push him away from the bed despite your desperate internal need to paw at him until he crawls under the sheets with you. It’s for the best, anyway. You’d just changed the bedding today after you’d gotten home from work.

He backs up towards the ensuite with his gaze still locked on you. Brows raised in suspicion as his fingers make quick work of the button and fly of his uniform pants like he expects you to change your mind and drag him back down to you regardless.

“Go get clean so I can get my hands on you,” you huff in amusement when Sammy makes an ‘I’m watching you’ gesture with his hands. It isn’t until the bathroom door clicks shut that you settle back down into the bed. Your man is home, your sheets are clean, and your show is on. What a perfect end to the day.
