The military tactics used in the defense of Winterfell are atrocious. Like seriously the wights are just a horde of mindless zombies in reality just by practicing some basic smarts it should be relatively easy to annihilate them. But what the defenders of Winterfell are doing is so incredibly stupid they deserve to lose. For someone like Alexander the Great, Napoleon, or Julius Caesar defeating the White Walkers would be as challenging as crushing bugs. Gen. Ambrose Burnsides could lead a defense that is a million times more effective compared to this current FUBAR.
