Immigration in the U.S

Hi guys! This post is dedicated to spreading the awareness of the issue regarding illegal immigration in the United States. Many people are coming to the U.S. because they are facing many hardships back in their home country, such as homelessness, unemployment, and gang violence. We, as citizens of the United States, should do our very best to help them lead better lives here. For one thing the Declaration of Independence tells us “We hold these truths to be sacred & undeniable; that all men are created equal & independent, that from that equal creation they derive rights inherent & inalienable, among which are the preservation of life, & liberty, & the pursuit of happiness”. Why should that not apply to the people come here seeking a better life?

Water Bottle Filling Stations in Novi High School

Each day over 60 million water bottles are being dumped into landfills, adding up to over 22 billion per year. Installing water bottle filling stations into NHS would encourage students to bring reusable water bottles to fill every day at school instead of throwing them away every day. These stations will not only help to save our environment now, but the future generations to come. What do you think NHS?

Stop NSA Surveillance

Every single one of us has a right to privacy, it’s protected under our fourth amendment.  No search and seizure with out a warrant, it’s simple.

But the government created the NSA and went against the fourth amendment.  They went against the Constitution.  In 2008 the FISA act was passed. It granted the US companies immunity from lawsuit when they complied with government surveillance requests. Then under the Obama administration, PRISM was passed. It allowed streamlined, electronic seizure of information from internet communities. This should count as search and seizure, which is illegal under the 4th amendment of the constitution but the government disagrees and claims it’s for the nation’s security.

I believe that government surveillance over the internet should be illegal, but the government thinks its constitutional.

Everyone who has ever used the internet is affected by this issue. Surveillance over the internet by the government  denies us freedoms written in our constitution.

. And even though it’s only an a major  issue in America, the UN has said that internet surveillance is corrosive and destroys privacy and have even banned it in their International Covenant on Civic and Political Rights and have clearly stated that the NSA’s surveillance program is illegal. But, the US government seems to think otherwise.

The government in reaction to the people has done absolutely nothing but defend themselves. The government is supposed to represent the people, instead they’re overruling us. 

. Additionally the government is violating the 4th amendment of our constitution. The constitution is the supreme law of the land, and even the government shouldn’t be allowed to go against it.

The point of this network was not only to increase apparent success rate, but also genuinely spread awareness and civil discussion (which isn't really happening rn). The beauty of it is that while trying to find an easy way out, you're inevitably educating yourself about the world and its issues. Trust me, I'm not doing this for the individuals. I'm doing this because I'm a bigoted person with an inflated ego and a sense of duty to making the world suck less.

Net neutrality is the concept of a free and open internet, where connections are not throttled or put in to fast lanes for each website. Basically, not having to pay 5$ a month to access every single website you go to. Net neutrality also protects website owners that are trying to get users to quickly connect to their website.
