on the weekends i tend to indulge a little more often because i consider them cheat days. so i just ate a huge bowl of the most delicious ice cream. it was cookies and cream, for anyone wondering. simple topping, whipped cream. don’t give me shit about it. i know some people like to drown their ice cream with fudge and candy and all that. and please, don’t be like my mother who insists that whipped cream tastes like ‘air’ because i will fight you. whipped cream is the best. i do need to expand my ice cream flavors though, so shoot me your suggestions! also, do you like whipped cream, or do i have to disown you? im kidding about that last part. maybe.

cookies and cream is definitely in my top three favorite ice cream flavors. i could never judge you about glorious cheat days. i hate to admit that i have more cheat days than i do actual normal days, because let me tell you it's difficult to stick to a diet living in texas seven months outta the year. also, whipped cream is amazing! especially if you make your own. have you ever tried homemade whipped cream? it's divine. if you haven't tried it i'll make you some, it's definitely a game changer. umm.....i think my all time favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough. i could literally eat a whole pint of cookie dough.

i am buzzing! this weekend has been one of the best i’ve had in a while so please excuse me while i gush. my favorite favorite person is moving back home, and although the long distance was worth it, im still happy that’s a thing of the past. our new album confetti came out on friday and is doing wicked on the charts. we’ve found our new opening act, a band called Since September, they’re so talented its exciting. we had the chance to host AND perform at the EMAs tonight and to top it off, we took home the awards for best pop and UK and Ireland act. lets keep the positive energy going, tell me something good that happened for you this weekend. @hfrpstarters·

that is so exciting! i bet you are over the moon about that. nothing more exciting than knowing your best friend is moving closer to you. i keep trying to convince my best friend from back home to move to la, but she refuses to leave australia, and i can't say that i blame her. also...i've had confetti on loop since it came out! swear you girls are my favorite female group to ever exist. your message to women all across the world is inspiring— amazing job! i wish i could say my life was that exciting, but really all i've done is work. we are filming season six of fear the walking dead, so i've spent most of my days outside, covered in fake blood and dirt. it's such a lavish lifestyle, let me tell ya.

“could always say something else but lies don’t get me anywhere… but i’m honestly excited that i guessed right. i mean, you always intrigued me so the little things keep dwelling in my mind.” a smile followed as he finished speaking, it was an honest answer; Ryan could be terrible in remembering what someone liked but interesting people stay stuck in his head. even if this was a gut-feeling-guess, he seemed like to have remembered it after all. and for her? he wanted to do his extra best, even if admitting his forgetfulness was part of the progress. “i’ll have you as long as you feel like. don’t have plans at all so, feel free to stay around.” a soft hum passed his lips when he felt her fingers through his beard and another one when the kiss got returned. “yes ma’am.” the male didn’t move until she slipped past his large frame and before he followed her, he grabbed a can of soda from the fridge and he headed to the couch as well. sitting down on the free end of the couch. once he sat down, he reached for the remote and turned the tv on with one simple press on the button.

those were the little things alycia liked. the fact that ryan remembered, or at the very least attempted to remember what it was that she liked. that told her that he valued her happiness and when she wasn't used to getting that sort of treatment, it meant the world to her. "even if you hadn't remembered, it still means a lot that you tried. i can't say that most people would care that much to even try and remember things like that, so it means a lot." she followed closely behind ryan on their way into his living room, waiting for the male to take a seat before she sat down beside him, kicking her shoes off and stretching her legs across his lap. "just be warned that i may get a little scared, so if you like your personal space i may be invading it today." she took one final sip from the glass before sitting it on the coffee table, her head falling carefully against his chest. "i swear you are a giant teddy bear." she nuzzled a little closer, burying her face into the crook of his neck.

“i did and well, i kinda forgot but i went for a lucky guess and it seemed that i guessed right. you don’t strike me as a white wine lady so, yeah. it’s all yours.” once he handed over the glass, he flashed her a warm smile, it was the least he could do or well, that’s how he felt. she came all the way over to visit him and he wanted to give her a present. “is it? well then we should watch that. it’s a start, indeed!” Ryan ran his hand over his greying beard before he got tugged forward, standing now between her legs and he rested his hands on the counter. “you are making me all feeling warm and fuzzy inside with your sweet words.” pressing his forehead gently back against hers. “but, i really missed you too and now you are here.” pressing a kiss against the corner of her lips before tilting his head back a bit.

"ahh...well i do love an honest man." she took another sip from the glass before sitting it aside. "i don't mind white, but red is definitely my first choice. it appears you do remember a lot more about me than i thought." the fact that ryan remembered little things about her, from what she liked to drink to her favorite kind of films, that meant something to her. far too often she was forced to be around people who pretended to have her best interest at heart, but when it come to ryan she knew that it was true. "i am here now and i plan to be for as long as you'll have me." her fingers ran through his beard a couple of times, returning the same gesture and kissing the corner of his lips. "come on, let's take this into a more cozier setting." she used the space between them to slid off the counter, her entire body now pressed firmly into his chest. grabbing her glass of wine and slipping past him, she headed into the living room and found a nice comfy spot on the couch.

For Ryan it was the same, perhaps in the beginning when he met his ex wife, they had a same-like spark but this with Alycia? he never had. the two had a friendship from the start with a strong bond that developed over the years, even if they were both busy, they still kept in touch no matter what. “i’m glad you think the same as me.” giving her a smile before he leaded her to the kitchen, it was one not that special but perhaps too big for a man alone. “i’m not really a wine guy but i figured you liked some so i bought red just for you.” pulling open the fridge, grabbing the bottle of red as he placed on the counter while grabbing a glass out one of the cupboards. “how about a movie? i have quite the collection. unless you want to do something else? i’m down for anything, really.” he said with a hum as he poured a glass for her, offering it after.

alycia couldn't hide the smile that so easily crept upon her lips as ryan pulled a bottle of red from the fridge. the fact that he had been thoughtful enough to grab a bottle of wine for her was beyond thoughtful. "you actually bought an entire bottle of red for me? and here i thought you would have never remembered that red was my favorite." she took the glass as soon as he had poured it, bringing it to her lips for a quick sip. "a movie sounds wonderful. i heard that new craft movie was available to rent, so maybe we can start with that?" she sat the glass to the side for the time being and reached for a handful of ryan's shirt, easing him forward so he was standing between her legs. "i really have missed you." she loosened her grip on his shirt, leaning forward until her forehead was pressed against his.

Did you like Lexa with Clarke or did you want her to explore other love interests?

i adored lexa with clarke. i don't think i could have ever seen lexa love someone the way that she loved clarke. as minor as my role was meant to be on the 100, and as minor as the writers may have thought her love for clarke was, it will forever be one of the best roles i have ever done in my career, and i'm thankful every day that i was able to come back for the final episode and finally give closure to not only clarke, but all the fans as well.

Do you really believe in aliens?

of course i do. it would be crazy for any of us to believe that we are the only beings in this universe.

What do you wanna do after TWD?

i never thought about it. the walking dead has sort of always been part of my life, especially for the last six years so i have no idea what i would do once it's over. from a career stand point i'd love to do more movies, and not those cheap straight to dvd movies i've done in the past. i'd really love to get into a couple major motion pictures.

what’s your love language? (quality time, gifts, touch, acts of service or words of affirmation)

oh i love this question! love language has always been so interesting to me. i think i'm definitely more of a touch and quality time kind of girl. i was never big into the gifts thing and i don't require words of affirmation to be happy, but gentle touches and just being in the presence of the person i love definitely keeps the heart eyes going.

What is one thing that annoys you most?

people who lie to me— and also terrible drivers. i think both of those are tied in my book.

What’s one sure fire way to impress you?

just be yourself. i have never been the kind of girl who needed fancy things such as dates, gifts, etc. i'm more into the intimate side of dating. i love to spend time at home, watching movies, eating takeout, or even cooking a meal with my significant other. as long as the person that i'm with can be themselves and they don't try too hard to impress me, there is a very good chance i'll be impressed. i'm a simple girl, i like simple gestures.

favorite season?

definitely fall. i used to be such a summer girl, but nothing makes me happier than a nice crisp breeze, beautiful fall colors and a nice sweater to snuggle into. plus halloween is my favorite holiday, so of course that is also a reason fall has taken my number one spot.
