Since Tumblr won’t remove my explicit tag even with no posts of any kind on my blogs so I’ve taken the plunge at newtumbl.com. I’ve been there for a few weeks and it should workout just fine, though it lacks the millions of users this place has.

For What It's Worth...

I've got to say its really strange to see all these people still posting here when nobody but followers can see anything and they can't use ARCHIVE view at all (without archive view I would never have bothered with Tumblr in the first place) so if you miss a post its gone forever... Wait, I get it... Its like Compuserve and AOL again. Neato! I removed ALL of my content, adult and kid-friendly, in December. So, with nothing on my blogs for over 6 months and no less than 8 attempts to get Tumblr to remove the Explicit tag on them, I've given up and am now posting on newtumbl.com. I still can't believe they went ahead with that name which clearly sets them up for multiple cease-and-desist senarios. Fans of Silicon Valley will recall that Jimmy Yang's character, Jian-Yang, eventually steals every internet idea in the U.S. and names his copy products "New Google", "New Facebook", and so on. So many possibilities for clever product names and these newtumbl guys... Eh, anyways, these newtumbl guys are surpringly competent and are doing a surprisingly good job of allowing us to post just about anything. The only problem remaining is content; there aren't many very many artists or contributors there yet. If you do happen to do a newtumbl account (and it's a lot easier to set one up than it is on Tumblr) just do a search for "ajskrat" in your dashboard and you'll get a list of the blogs I've setup so far. ajskrat-drawnpron-futa.newtumbl.com

I've cleared my tumblr blogs in the hope that they'll flip the explicit tag off but I don't expect to use tumblr except to announce to followers (still quite a few, looks like) where I'm proning when I know where that is. I'm about to try a site that may be a substitute but without the artists and other fanbois like me posting there it may just fizzle. I won't post the name of the site here until I know I'll be putting in some time there. If the name of the site is any indication it could prove sketchy. It's not merely that the site name sounds like something Silicon Valley's Jian-Yang would come up with. It just screams "cease and desist". [email protected]
