A busy week out across the pond! Following an evening of the arts (dinner with a cinematographer, a night at a play) plus a birthday celebration, Taylor and Travis continued to go out and about in London.
One date night formula Taylor has long-relied on is all black. And for good reason! In my opinion, it always makes for a chic option. Especially when you take the option to play with textures and materials, as Taylor did here. There’s an edgy mix between sultry lace (a mismatched set from two different brands to give the appearance of a dress), and plain plus textured leather through her coat and studded bag. A simple pair of strappy heels (for my minimalist heart) finished everything off. These, if I had to guess, are also the shoes she likely wore while out with Ash Avignone in NYC last month in April. It’s nice to have a clear look at them in all their glory now.
The one other area of added polish? A vintage Chanel necklace. I think an updo was the best way to go to let the rest of the outfit, and that new-to-her piece shine.

i made these very quickly, please keep in mind that moving glitter tends to destroy gif quality and compression so it may fluctuate!
During their first meeting with Hisame, Fushi makes fun of her for not knowing anything. Because she's a nine year old. This is her response:
And then she goes on to imply that she wants to learn about love with Fushi which is some seriously creepy shit, but if you take this in isolation, the sentiment of being excited to learn about the world is one we've seen echoed many times before. By the nameless boy, by March, by Tonari's friends, and of course by Fushi. Hisame's so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, it reminds them of how they were before the people they love started dying.
Being an adult—even though it's only temporary—Fushi looks down on Hisame for being so naive, but that's why they decide to stick with her for a while longer. She still has a chance at growing up to be better than Hayase.
Hisame's situation, in which she's being controlled by her older family members, draws Fushi's attention because it's so similar to their Beholder problem. They were only able to tolerate him because of the people in their life who supported them, and they're thinking maybe they could be that person for Hisame.
Gugu was an especially positive role model for them, and Fushi adapts a big brother/caretaker attitude similar to his for Hisame and for other characters they meet later in the story.
This doesn't end up panning out, because of Hisame's role in Tonari's death. Even if Fushi were able to get past the fact that she's Hayase's reincarnation, she still has a knocker in her that can hurt other people.
Fushi decides not to remove this knocker because they value free will, something the Beholder doesn't allow them to have. If they override Hisame's decision to keep the knocker alive, they would be just like him, and just like the adults in Hisame's life. But if they leave things like this, Fushi can't trust Hisame and doesn't want to travel with her anymore.
Before this final meeting with Hisame, Fushi waited with Tonari on her death bed, and she gave them her last request: to make friends. Fushi ran into Hisame with this on their mind and after turning back into a kid again. Because of the change in circumstances, it's easier for them to see that Hisame isn't only the same as how they used to be, she's the same as how they are now. It might be possible for them to have an equal relationship of friends instead of one where Fushi is in control.
Fushi needs someone who can understand and help them. And now they've put together that Hisame does too. And as an added bonus, they're uncomfortable with Hisame being in the Defense Corps. The solution is so obvious, and yet Fushi can't bring themselves to offer her friendship, because of the aforementioned moral dilemma regarding the knocker and whether they should make Hisame's decisions for her. But the foundation has still been laid and may be built upon by future successors.
