Time Off For Good Behavior || Alex and Talos
Having been away for such a long stretch of time, Talos had jumped on the first opportunity to return home to Atlanta when word of the prophecy origin met his ears. Not only did he want to lend a hand in assistance but he had missed Alex, missed being with his adoptive family of sorts. “Broke up a cat fight,” Talos hummed, the words spoken in a reflective sort of manner. The scratches that lined Alex’s cheek certainly could have come from a feline though he knew that wasn’t the case. “Good you did not get right into the middle of it. Could have been worse.” He caught the rag that was tossed in his direction with ease, falsifying a scoff at the idea of assisting - as if he wasn’t there to do just that - before turning towards the nearest table to start at the task. “I have been just fine. I was thinking about making something special for dinner tonight, if you are hungry.”
"Eh, they were sorority chicks. I wasn't expecting knives and guns to be pulled. Nail file maybe..." His voice drifted off as he wiped down another table to hid the grin that was spreading across his face. It was so incredibly good to have Talos home. Alex was secretly hoping the old man wouldn't take to wings and decided he'd had enough of the city again. He had a feeling he'd need the Gryphon more and more in the coming days. "You know me. I can always eat. Whatcha making me? I think the fridge is fully stocked...mostly booze, but I'm sure there's something you can use in there."
