Submission for SF Video
Check compliance specs
In order for videos to enter into the supply chain they will need to comply to certain technical standards. In addition, certain digital partners (especially iTunes) have their own requirements. If these requirements are not met, there is a high chance that certain partners will reject masters that do not comply with their standards.
In order to make sure that your video can be delivered to as many partners as possible, please check the ‘videosubmissionguidelines’ before sending the master to Media Production.
Send into Media Production
- Upload to MMB
Videos of less than – x - minutes can be loaded into the digital supply chain via the MMB (Media Mail Box). The MMB will ask for a product number, when you want the video in AOMA (the SLA (Service Level Agreement)), and if there are any known issues about the video.
Once this has been done and you have uploaded the video, a fast file transfer technology (Aspera) will send your video to media production for QC. The product number, SLA and indication if there are any known issues allows Media Production to find the file quickly, prioritise it and speed up the QC process.
- Send via Post
Digibetas, HD CAM/ HD CAM SR or Data Drives/ Discs can be mailed to the Sony DADC NMS offices in London. Please check with the ‘videosubmissionguidelines’ for the address and format specs.
