Prince Squirp Korogaline Squirpina, the Space Niblet.

A while back, I had the idea of Bleck's crew being their own "Elite Four" (with Bleck as the champion) and decided to make the old-school sprites (based on the Gameboy Pokemon games) to match. Since then, I've decided to work through requests and my own whims to make a lot of other Paper Mario characters in this style. I've never really done pixel art, so it's been a lot of fun and I've learned so much! But right now I'm going to rest on this series for now and move onto something else. Almost all of these fit within the size constraints of the original Pokemon sprites, but I wasn't holding myself to the same standards on some of the earlier ones, so they might be a wee bit too wide or tall. This time the character is from a game I'd never played until getting the collection: Grabbed by the Ghoulies. Lambasted when it came out and made fun of since because it was a corny whimsical romp and not at all what people wanted or expected from Rare's first outing with Microsoft, the game has nonetheless found fans over the years, including now - me. I highly recommend it if you like the silly spooky spirit of Halloween. It's a ton of fun, and on the HD collection at least, looks gorgeous.
