Matt saw her blush and knew she was lying. He couldn’t decide if he should pretend to believe her, or if he should tickle her. He decided on the latter, but he decided to surprise her.

"Okay. Okay." he said, putting his hands up to show a sign of innocence, “Lets just watch the movie." He waited until  he knew she was watching the movie, but hadn’t fallen asleep yet.

 Once again, he faced the difficult decision of whether or not to tickle her. He took his arm from where it had previously been, around her, and surprised her. Tickling her ribs.

She smiled and sat still, watching the movie quietly. She wasn't really into her, it mind was on much different things at the moment. When Matt tickled her, a very loud, high pitched squeak came out of her throat and she immediately began laughing hard, squirming around. "I'm.." she laughed more. "I'm gonna kill you.." she said in between breaths, laughing hard.

"You would have to actually try really hard to get on my nerves. Or get an attitude. Nothing gets on my nerves worse than attitude." Matt thought about it, and found it rather comical that Alyssa was putting up such a front against going to sleep. Would Matt mind if she fell asleep in his bed? Absolutely not. She was pregnant and tired. Would he take a picture of her with his phone? He thought about it and the answer he came up with was absolutely. 

He craned his neck to peck her on her lips, then wondered how ticklish she was. He had never tried to tickle her, and it seemed like it wasn’t a good idea. Sure, she was all happy and giddy, but if she wasn’t ticklish, he would feel stupid. He decided to wait.

"Are you ticklish?" he had to ask. He whispered this quietly in her ear, then lifted his head to smile at her. He really hoped that her answer was yes.

She grinned. "I find that funny, because I have such an attitude with other people it's not even funny." she laughed softly. Why hadn't she been like that when she met Matt? It was odd for her. She had never let anybody in easily, except Matt. It was right off the bat that she had decided to trust him. She didn't regret it, but to this day, she couldn't figure out why. 

She pecked his cheek in return, smiling at him. She loved the feeling of his arms around her waist, and she loved to feeling of just being close to him. She could almost fall asleep right there in that moment. 

At Matt's question, Alyssa blushed. "Not at all." she lied, her hands going to cover Matt's protectively. She was definitely ticklish, especially on her sides. If Matt tickled her, she'd definitely laugh and giggle, sometimes she even snorted. Her cheeks were still red, and she said no more on the subject, obviously lying.

Matt shrugged. He had never watched half the movies in the box. He could tell Alyssa was starting to calm down, but he was completely confused. She had never acted like that in front of him. Maybe this was her being tired. Or maybe this was her pregnant. He liked Alyssa like this, but he liked it when she was her. Alyssa wasn’t usually all giddy. If this was her pregnant, this was going to be a long nine months.

Matt let his phone go to voicemail, then picked it up and checked it. It had been Micah. There was a text message from him, too, but Matt decided he didn’t want to argue. At least not with Alyssa here. He and Micah always ended up screaming at each other, and often times, Matt gets so mad he breaks something. 

Matt pulled the blanket up over him and lifted up the side away from the wall for Alyssa to crawl into bed with him and smiled. He loved it when Alyssa was there with him. He swore to himself at that moment, that he would never do anything as stupid as letting her go.

Alyssa crawled into the bed and hugged him, laying her head on his chest. She understood that he didn't want to take the phonecall, Whether it was because of her, or not, she wasn't going to force him. She kissed his cheek. "Listen, I'm sorry. It's just when I'm tired or in a really good mood I get like that.. I'm really trying hard not to be annoying right now." she laughed softly, looking up at him. 

She yawned, trying to hide the fact that she was doing so by pressing her face down in his chest. She hated being tired. It made her vulnerable. And if that was one thing she didn't want to be, it was vulnerable. Or giddy and happy.. 

She smiled at him, moving a bit to where she could see the movie, but they were still cuddled up together. If there was one thing Alyssa wouldn't admit, it was that she loved cuddles more than anything. She watched the movie, trying to keep her mind going so she didn't fall asleep. She held his hand, smiling up at him.

"It wasn’t presentable, and I’ve been told I’m cute, but its nice to know that you think so," He smiled, “Look through the movies in that case," he said pointing. Besides skating, movies had been almost like a hobbie of his. He loved to watch movies.

He knew that there were way too many movies in there to look through all of them. He couldn’t help but think that maybe Alyssa being in his bed would help in sleep, but he would have been embarrassed to admit it. She had said that he kept the nightmares away for her.. Could she do the same for him? The thought made him blush.

He moved over to the bed while he was waiting for her to pick a movie. He threw back the blankets and- while she wasn’t looking- pulled off his pajama pants, leaving him standing beside the bed in his boxers. These happened to have tiny blue and yellow chickens on them. 

His phone buzzed from his bedside table, and he made his best attempt to ignore it, knowing it was probably just Micah, and he didn’t want to argue.

She rolled her eyes, grinned and turned to the box of movies. "I've never heard of any of these, to be honest.." she shrugged, picking on up and looking at him. When she noticed his boxers, she giggled behind her hand. "Is this a good one?" she asked, watching him. 

She was starting to calm down. Maybe it was just a sugar rush, she thought to herself. She smiled at the thought, but it wasn't an evident smile. She was glad she was calming down, and she could tell Matt had gotten confused already. 

When his phone buzzed, she frowned. "If that's something important, you can take it. I really don't mind." she smiled at him, gesturing towards the phone. She didn't want him to blow things off for her, in her mind, she wasn't that important. Well, then again, in her mind, Matt shouldn't even be with her. He could do so much better than her, a girl with self esteem issues that's being chased around by a gang. She didn't understand why Matt had fallen for her, but she was glad, because she had fallen for him just the same. 

Expecting him to answer his phone, she went and put the movie in. She then walked over and kissed his cheek, then laid down on the bed and waited for him, a smile on her face. She couldn't wait to just cuddle up to him and sleep the night away.

Matt watched Alyssa, knowing very well that she didn’t have a phone call. He liked this side of her, but it was a side he had never seen before. He picked up all of his boxers and threw them back in the closet, stuffing the suitcases that weren’t full of movies back into the closet. He closed the door, with a slight hassle, and suddenly felt the need to apologize for his room being dirty. She hadn’t seemed to mind, but it embarrassed him. His snow man boxers mocked him from the other side of the door.

He looked at the watch on his wrist to check the time and it was roughly midnight. He smiled. He loved the night life, and he wouldn’t have been able to sleep anyways. He walked up behind her almost silently, and peeked over her shoulder, expecting to see her playing some silly candy crush saga or four pics one word, but she was texting Derick.

The decision of whether or not to back away wasn’t worth the time. He wrapped his arms around her waist and planted a kiss on her neck, then smiled. “The room presentable now," he whispered.

She smiled, shoving her phone in her pocket and turning to face him. "It was presentable before." she rolled her eyes, then giggled. Her giggle was nice, soft and it lightened the mood. It was different from her normal, quiet laugh. Hell, she was all around different. Giggly and bubbly, unlike the usual quiet and normal Alyssa. She tried to convince herself that she trusted him with this side, that he was the father of her baby, and he wouldn't leave her. But she couldn't. 

"You're a cutie." Alyssa giggled again and played with his hair, cursing herself mentally. He was going to think she was a total weirdo! She had to stop, she had to do something other than let him experience this. She blushed slightly, pulling away and kissing his cheek. "How about some movies?" she asked, a blush rising to her face. Maybe if they watched the movies it would keep her quiet. 

She resisted the urge to sigh. She was acting like she was two different people. One many she was happy and giggly, and the next she was bashful and wouldn't even look at Matt. She knew he was going to get confused, either that or think he had done something wrong. She couldn't afford for him to think like that. He was her everything right now, besides the baby. And she just wanted him to stay, and to be happy.

Alyssa had given Matt just enough time to dig through the closet full of clothes and other miscellaneous items that he knew he wouldn’t need, only to find the movies at the very bottom. He had quite a few, though most of them were adult comedies. The titles on top consisted of Superbad, American Pie: The Naked Mile, and Knocked up. About the time had zipped the suitcase full of DVDs and VCR tapes open to see that he found what he had been looking for, he heard her knock.

When he opened the door, he hadn’t expected to be hugged, but he liked the feeling. Matt chuckled. Alyssa looked a little extra cute tonight, and listening to her statement, he thought about how Alyssa had only been in his room one other time, and he had been in Alyssa’s bed almost every night since the night they had gone out for coffee and came back with whiskey.

He smiled and kissed her on the top of her head, pulling her into his room, and shutting the door. “I’ll make a sign with my name on it and put it outside." 

He turned around to realize that he hadn’t had time to put anything back in the closet, and his room was an absolute mess. He looked to see how bad the damage was, and he realized that every embarrassing pair of boxers he owned were strown around the floor. He blushed.

Alyssa watched Matt, her smiled widening into a mischievous grin. The boxers strewn across the room definitely gave her more fuel to giggle behind her hand. "If you want me to come back in and act like I didn't see, I totally will." she joked, poking at his blush. 

Alyssa couldn't help but burst out laughing, hugging him again. Was she drunk or something? She had never acted like this around Matt before, why was she starting now? She mentally cursed herself. It wasn't that she didn't trust Matt, but how was she to know that he would still like her after he saw this side of her? She started to get scared, but just turned her back. "I think I've got a phone call.." she pretending to mess on her phone so he could clean up without being so embarrassed. 

She immediately took a deep breath when she was turned around. She had to control herself- do something so that Matt wouldn't see this side of her. She was too giggly, too happy. Nico hadn't liked it, and neither would Matt. How was she going to control herself? It was midnight, and she always got this way late at night, that's why she had either went to sleep early or avoided him all together. She pulled out her phone and actually began texting Derick, not knowing what else to do. Her stomach grumbled loudly, causing her to blush as she turned back around nervously. "Sorry.. hormones.." she laughed nervously, looking down. She was just all out of whack tonight.

Alyssa giggled at her laptop, shaking her head and shutting it. Matt could make her smile all the time, whether she was upset or in a good mood. It was one of his great qualities. But hey, what wasn't great about him? Alyssa smiled to herself at the thought, pulling on a pair of baggy pajama pants and a tank top before stretching out and brushing her hair. She wanted to look relatively nice for the father of her child. She moved over to her bed, blushing at the green Carebear on it, and grabbing it, putting it in a special place under her bed. Couldn't have anybody finding that, now could we? She grabbed her phone and walked out the door, eager to see Matt. She loved hanging out with him.

She walked down the hall, the frowned, realizing she had only been there once before. She wearily knocked on the first door that she thought was his, crossing her fingers. It'd suck to wake somebody up, and have to explain what was going on, especially since her hormones were starting to get a bit out of whack. Alyssa didn't like that. As if she wasn't already emotional enough. 

When Matt opened the door, she smiled in relief and hugged him. "I forgot where your room was." she giggled, looking up at him. Alyssa was in one of those moods. She usually didn't trust people enough to show them this side of her. The giggly, happy-go-lucky side. She was definitely cute, and her smile was brighter than usual. Matt was in for an interesting night.

Pregnant bellies aren’t fat! You’re holding another human being in there. They’re pleasantly round, and honestly, all through high school, I thought pregnant bellies were cute.
