Countermove is an initiative of professional musicians from the Netherlands to promote music and culture in support of charity organizations.

Making a small donation at http://www.thepoweroflove.nl/ you can download “The Power of Love” (€ 2,0 original + acoustic version) and help the Red Cross gather funds to bring hope and a future to victims of sexual violence in conflict areas worldwide.

One in five women worldwide is raped or otherwise sexually abused in her lifetime. In conflict areas, sexual violence is used as a weapon, to humiliate the enemy, with catastrophic impact on the victim’s physical and mental health. Often excluded from their community, surrounded by shame, victims also suffer social and economic consequences. They need our help.
