Amazons and Captains || Steve and Diana

Steve had turned to the woman when he watched her getting thrown. “Jesus,” he murmured before making his way over to where she had fallen. He was surprised to see her heading back over. “Are you alright?” He asked her. He held out a hand to help.
“We know about as much as you do.” He could see responders starting to arrive and relaxed a little. Looking up at the rip, it appeared to be producing less debris. It was still unstable though. “Unless you saw something before you… came through? Is it a portal?”
Diana took his hand, assuring him she was fine. She followed his gaze to get a better look at the rip. One moment, she’d been preparing for a meeting with the Justice League, routine scheduling and assignments for new members. Then the shaking had started, and as she tried to cover some of the other members, she felt herself being pulled closer and closer to the strange rip. No matter how hard she flew she’d been sucked right in.
“Portal...” she said, thinking aloud. She couldn’t remember much about the journey through. It’d been a haze of confusion swirling around her, and over as quick as it had begun. It couldn’t have been more than a minute from the first realization something was wrong to her ending up in this new city.
“It must have been a portal,” she said to the man. She turned her attention once more to the comm in her ear, pressing into it and willing it to buzz to life. “Superman, Batman, do you read me? Martian Manhunter...” she sighed. A portal, but one only she seemingly went through. This was a problem. Either her team was in this world and they had no current way to contact each other, or she was the lone traveler, stuck on her own.
“I didn’t see anything as I traveled through,” she admitted, wracking her brain for signs that a super villain had done this. No one at the Watchtower had given any reports about any of the usual suspects trying to rip through realities, and once again she was at a loss.
Well, there was one thing she could do at least. Diana straightened and turned to the man, giving him a reassuring look. “I am Wonder Woman. I don’t know what’s going on either, but I promise I will help. What should we do next?”
