With any change, comes a mixed-bag of emotions; while the mind tells you to keep moving forward, the heart longs to stay where you’ve called home for so long. After 5 wonderful years with Section Hair Studio, it may come as a surprise to know that I will be moving on to new ventures. I feel blessed to have been a part of the team there on McDowell Rd: at a small, intimate shop that allowed me to follow my dreams on my own terms and build real connections with my clientele. But the memory of our blood, sweat and tears will always remain, and I will forever be grateful for the friendships built within! The Willow District holds so many great memories throughout my time in Phoenix, and I am filled with pride having been a part of them, yet I also look forward to a different journey. I will now be located in Gilbert, Arizona at 20 Volume, an Aveda lifestyle salon and spa that will allow me to continue to grow my skills in the business I’ve loved for so long, as well as, be encouraged by a company and product line that aligns with the change I would love to see in the world 🙌🏻 Now, back to the mixed bag of emotions: I realize that the new location may be difficult for a few of you to accommodate, and I want to ensure this transition is as easy as possible on your end; I will remain at the current location until near the end of May, and I would love to see you before I go! At that point (or if ever needed), I would be happy to recommend a few stylists who may fit your needs as I have, and in a closer area.
