Why I am here

To begin with I am starting this blog to help me and others who are in my situation. I am now currently 18 weeks pregnant and on bed rest. This is due to me being diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. I had a cervical cerclage (details in later post) placed in at 16 weeks but my cervix still continued to funnel or open.
