Tips for going on big trips?
This is what I do when I know Iām going to be lifting a large amount of items:
Before I leave, I take a little extra time to make myself look pretty and made up. I donāt usually do anything to my hair, but when I go on trips I put some effort into it. Along with makeup, just picture a pretty white girl, and go with that. As far as my outfit, just simple shorts and a cute shirt is all you need. I just make sure to look cute and like I donātĀ need to be shoplifting.Ā
My favorite bag to take is my black slouchy H&M bag, Iāve had it for awhile and Iām really comfortable with it. I put an old Forever 21 shopping bag in there, (I have literally 20 from when my mom used to pay for my shopping trips) and a small shirt along with it. So in my purse is the F21 bag w/ a shirt inside, neatly tucked in, my wallet, phone, and scissors. Weāll get to that later.Ā
I go to Forever 21 first always. I donāt have a magnet, and at some locationsĀ everythingĀ is tagged. I can usually find a couple items that arenāt tagged, but if I see something IĀ must have thatās tagged Iāll pick it up.Ā
When I have an armful of clothes, I go over to accessories. Sometimeās I go absolutely crazy with the jewelry. In the jewelry area thereās usually a camera in one of the corners. Usually I can crouch down and look at something lower and quickly conceal the items in my purse. Iām very diligent about making sure there are no other customers or employees around me.Ā
On the way to the dressing rooms, Iāll pick up a couple of items I know Iām not gonna want. In the dressing rooms, Iāll try items on, and if theyāre tagged and I still really want them, in the past Iāve used scissors to cut the tags off. Now I know what youāre thinking,Ā ew, ratchet well yeah but that was the only thing I could do. And Iād always sew up the hole at home. I lifted a $50 dollar coat from H&M by that method.Ā
Sometimes Iāll conceal in the dressing rooms, but usually Iād just do it out on the floor.Ā
Nonchalantly walk out of the store.
Iāll usually go into a mall bathroom, and put all the clothes/items from my purse into the F21 bag I brought. Now, it appears that I purchased the clothes. Boom. Two bags to put stuff in.
F21 bags ROCK for putting items in. Just spread the handles out a little on your forearms and slip items in there. Thatās what I do in H&M. There are a lot less cameras in my H&M, and way less items are tagged.Ā
I like going into Victoriaās Secret for panties, and Aerie is literally a buffet. The one in my mall has really inattentive SAs and absolutely no visible cameras, or alarm towers. Few items are tagged except for bras. I just walk by and put panties and bralettes and shirts into one of the bags, and casually walk out.Ā
I ordered a magnet and hook, so Iām eager to use those out soon, but thatās how Iāve done it in the past.
