I enjoy doing quite a bit. But my favorite things are dragons, Dinos, and alien evolution. The most active fandom I'm into right now is the DCA fandom. I love doing crossovers with other people's characters, or discussing the wonders of a mystical world real or fake. Down below is a bunch of links for my convenience and yours. This is Dim.

And they are so pretty.

I have never been happier to actually see this character. To actually be able to visualize Dim. My first sort of OC.

Do they look like blue moon but color swapped? Totally. Yes. I don't give a damn. Dim became Blue Moon through the design process by accident. I don't think it's terrible and that Dim takes some of his design back. I'm just happy to see him.

I created them in the era when everything was just something I imagined in my head. If I couldn't get a design through line art, there was no way it was going to come on page. Color wasn't a thing I used. And yet that was the whole prospect of Dim. This colorful character propped with the colors of the setting or rising Sun. Stark colors of blue and yellow marking out his duty. It was just something I couldn't do in line art. There is no way in all hell I could express that.

And yet now I do. Have colors! Something I scarcely used on paper. It always took too much time, was too much of a worry, I didn't have the right shade. Now at the click of a couple buttons and a quick Google search I can have all the colors I ever want. Dim can be alive in every aspect that I ever wanted him to be.

Dim's design on paper is boring. Even now if I remove the color it looks silly. It's a bunch of stripes on a standard DCA with a couple of unique ribbon and ray orientations. It's not that surprising and contrasting.

But it works so well with color. Just the stark difference between the stripes and their main body hues. Blue Moon took Dim's design because it just didn't work with line art. Either looked too stagnant or too exciting. My philosophy has always been to make the line art poppy, because that's what I've always had. But it also removes the splendor from characters that probably would have looked better with the color. Always scribbled dark areas to just express it because it wouldn't work else wise.

I am very happy with Dim's design. I have never been happier to see this character I devoted an entire section of my little story making mind too. This little security drone. Plugged into a body that don't know how to move with. Thrown into a consciousness they never had to correlate with. Able to interact with a humans on a level they've never had beyond the screen. Able to understand music.

Say hello to Dim. The little AI that loves the sound like a dance.

SunDown Dance!

Another one for inktober. This one being Blue Moon's dinosaur companion. Who finally has a name and official color palette. Sundown dance is a dinosaur blue moon found on their first travels. They came home with them as a little baby but unfortunately lost them due to pest control. Roxy found them later and Blue Moon was reunited with his pet.

Sundown dance is a fakeasaur. Related to dinosaurs like Majungasaurus, Rajasaurus, carnotaurus. But looks like it's cousin Ceratosaurus with its crest orientation. He has big long feathers connected to his highly maneuverable arms. Able to wave and ruffle them for displays.

I love this little fakeasaur. Others should make fakeasaurs.

Oh! Here's an update on sundowns robocat.

Ok. So. I might want to change how I draw hands for DCAs???

Look. When I first started drawing the DCAs I was set on forcing myself to draw human anatomy. Like that was the whole point. I wanted to force myself to draw human anatomy. But good God I need something more casual to do with these characters. I don't know if you guys have been noticing, But in my more sketchy looking comics the characters hands are simplified to all hell. And I'm just wondering if it would be okay if I shifted that to be full time.

I'm going to have to get back into this style. But this is how I drew hands before. Other than the simplified to squares with lines on it. Which I might still draw often. Detailed hands were like this. Unless they were playing an instrument, I always had these semi paw looking hands. Mostly because half of the creatures I drew were animals. I call this my dragon hand. And I will say I was very out of touch with my dragon hand. So I don't know if these sketches do it justice.

But I'm just wondering if it would be too jarring if I just said that all my characters have paws now. And all their hands look like this now. And this is just how it is.

Like I seriously want to shift how all my characters look. They all like humanoid because I'm forcing them to be humanoid. I don't actually... Well I guess in a weird way I never really wanted my DCAs to be humanoid. They were just supposed to be a stepping stone. And so I kind of want to go back to that small factoid when the DCAs were supposed to be more animal-like.

I like drawing environments. As much as I'm not Exactly a ruler's person I did get quite good at it in school. Pushed my limits. But. Here are some worlds based off of my own worlds. I wonder which ones you can guess.

Dear gods this is spreading around slowly but it's spreading around. Perhaps I should draw my weird Minecraft creatures again. They were fun.

There hasn't even been a response to this but I did it anyways. This is relating to Blue Moon fighting an empty space in the rle castle. Deciding to be sneaky and paint the walls of the abandoned section. Making his own sort of space. @sigery

Why would he be eager to do this? Blue moon doesn't really have a room. He lives on what would be described as the ceiling of the living room. He can't really decorate it. The only "room" that is really his, is the roof of the pizza plex. Where he gets to sit and stare at stars. This abandoned section is an actual room that he can have, but he still wants to look at the stars. So he goes and makes some.

I will say the funniest thing about this is not any of the faces. Or even the fact I mimicked a meme. It's the fact that Cygnus has a broken arm where the original image doesn't. Like if you look closely enough it looks jarring, but I hid it by placing his hand vaguely in the same spot. It makes me chuckle with cleverness.
