Amycus stared blankly at Layla. He was still as a rock - his expression vague, gawking at her like an idiot - until a sudden roar of giggles burst from his mouth. “I think I just got a hard one.”

♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.

Amycus is pretty reckless with his emotions. His self-fulfilling attitude doesn’t leave any room to analyze the way he approaches something, so oftentimes he abuses his emotional freedom and speaks and reacts organically to something - as if he had some sort of permanent truth serum. Because of this, he can come off pretty blunt, not from the tone of his voice but from the phrasing of his words. In summary, Amycus says whatever he thinks and doesn’t spend much time on the consequences of reacting on his emotions alone. What Amycus despises is the moments where he begins to feel something he isn’t comfortable with - like compassion or hardship - and he has to control himself from revealing his true feelings. Those are very rare and far in between moments - most of them taking place during family gatherings - but the short number of them only drive Amycus’ madness to be even wilder.

☢ : Describe a thought or dream that would cause them to have a mental meltdown.

It’s a very juvenile quality, but Amycus thrives on attention. A reoccurring nightmare Amycus has from time to time is of a blank faced woman who similarly resembles Alecto, avoiding every ridiculous word or action he throws her way. 

☾ : On a sleepless night, what would they be found doing?

As a child, whenever Amycus couldn’t sleep he would build a fortress of pillows with Alecto from anything they could find in their bedroom or playroom. Nowadays, Amycus doesn’t build the same pillow forts. Instead, he will either go into Alecto’s room and lay on the other side of her bed as she sleeps, or he will go outside and start zapping spells at the topiary bushes throughout the gardens of his home.

۞: Are there any inner demons they can never seem to get rid of? What are they?

Demon would have to imply that it’s something Amycus is ashamed of, and nowadays, he’s not really ashamed of the kind of person he is. However, the sick pleasure he’s began to receive from torturing the wizards and witches he’s had to apprehend isn’t public knowledge. It might not be as shameful as it could’ve been, that would still be considered a demon since he wouldn’t like talking about it with just about anyone. At least not yet.

Technically, it was his after hours. Amycus was still dressed in his hit wizard approved garments, but considering the urgency of their mission, there wasn’t any priority to change. And who knows? If someone recognized the Ministry uniform, they could manipulate that influence to their advantage. At the end of the meeting, as Death Eaters began to apparate left and right, Amycus walked over to Layla, with purpose through every scuff of his boot. “So -  guess it’s time to get to it then.” He spoke with a clearly smug look in his eyes.
