Looking forward to getting back to work on, TRADES PAINTERS, a collaborative effort with @boobytrendy to do with our day jobs as house painters for @straight_edge_painting between 2019 and 2021. As labour becomes increasingly automated, performed remotely, and/or is otherwise being rendered unrecognizable, TRADES PAINTERS is a consideration of how both arts and trades labour are ascribed value in the present economy, and the difficulties that arise during this process as that value is negotiated between ‘professionals’ and ‘laypersons’.
