Now a days we use the words sorry and thank you interchangeably. I shouldn’t be that way. Sorry is for something you did wrong and thank you is celebrating another. For example, if you are having an extremely stressful month and you vent out with a friend. Instead of saying, “sorry for venting out”. Say, “thank you for taking the time to listen to me”. You shouldn’t feel bad for that. Now to get me wrong apologizing is appropriate in specific situations, but it shouldn’t be used for everything you do.
