A finger snap from the golden hand of God. In that exact moment the universe was born. For something can ever come from nothing. This piece is a tribute to Neil Degrasse Tyson. He inspired this piece called "Birth of the Universe". It was painted by me and took a day to complete. The gold hand is to represent the purity of a creator. The shadow is show the background of the unknown that may or may not exist beyond our own universe. The color spectrum is a polite bow to Sir Isaac Newton when he questioned the substance of light and discovered the rainbow. (Indigo was his own creation to have 7 colors). The vortex funnel is just a proverbial method to demonstrate the universe aging and moving and expanding. Word to the wise. When I look at a tattoo artists work, I am looking at consistent lines. Are they straight? parallel. Is there any obvious shaky lines? Is it symmetrical if it meant to be? The outline makes the base of the tattoo.
