It’s easily our most anticipated film of the year, the conclusion to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises.
This is a film we’ve been talking about right the way back to our very first podcast over a year ago so to say that expectations were high would be an understatement.
This is the first time we’ve reviewed a film immediately after viewing so our views are very fresh and perhaps open to a little bit of change over the coming days and weeks.

We're going out with a bang! It's the final episode of what we're calling The Anoraks Podcast 1.0. After a year of podcasting we're moving the show to live radio and what better way to bring the first stage of our history to a close than to look at our Top 5 Endings.
Regular listeners wont be surprised to hear that Sean struggled to come up with a list. There's a lot of emotion in this one as we discuss some twists and some tear jerkers. Sean also loses his temper whilst talking about the new Mass Effect 3 DLC. We may as well finish with an argument I guess?
Fast forward to the 49 minute mark to get details on the future of the show and how we'll be doing things from now on.

We're looking for some new people to potentially join our team to help with some of the upcoming changes at www.TheAnoraks.com
The podcast in it's current form is going to be coming to end after the next episode but that doesn't mean it's the end for The Anoraks. We're looking to make a number of changes to the site to move us into our second year of publishing and there could be room for you to be involved.
We're looking for people that fall into any of the following categories:
PODCASTERS - Have a passion for Film? Television? Video Games? Comics? Gadgets? Tabletop Gaming? Anything that falls into the alternative/geek entertainment banner really. We're looking for people to join us for future shows. You need to be confident in yourself, willing to share your views and defend it when challenged, have a decent microphone (and preferably headphones) for recording via Skype. Some technical knowledge is also a bonus but not a requirement. We're not only looking for people to join our current shows but we're also looking to host your podcast. Want to talk about something your passionate about? We'll host it on our website and iTunes and make it part of The Anoraks network.
WRITERS - Perhaps you're not quite so confident speaking on mic? We're also looking for people who want to contribute articles to the website. It could be reviews, previews, opinion pieces, anything that you want to write and share. We have a website with a traffic that is growing in numbers all the time and can provide a home for your writing and a chance to advertise your work.

Harvey, Sean and Sam discuss Season 2 of Game Of Thrones. This is pretty much just a discussion of our favourite characters and where we think the story is going next.
None of us are familiar with the books so have little idea of what the future of the series holds. Be warned though there are spoilers aplenty as far as the show is concerned.
