gently caressing

telling me it's okay,

the black hole in my mind

is where i truly belong.

tortured,

tumultuous,

torn-apart.

plagued by these blue devils.

i’m the color of a bruise.

when he comes home smelling of too much whiskey,

and he decides to take his anger out on you.
