How The NOC Changes Will Impact The Express Entry Candidates?

According to the government’s website, Canada’s immigration department will switch to the NOC (National Occupational Classification) system’s 2021 version on November 16, 2022. Moreover, the new NOC will change eligibility for some of Canada’s immigration programs likeexpress entry.

To become qualified for the express entry, now you require work experience that will come under the NOC skill types 0, A, or B, which line up with the NOC 2016. After the change, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will look to the new Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities (TEER) system to regulate the eligibility of the work experience.

Changes Can Be Expect In 2023 In Express Entry

Saskatchewan recently held its new PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) draw on 8th November 2022. In this draw, it issued 35 Canadian immigration invitations in a new expression of interest (EOI). Also, it featured 31 invitations through the Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry Streams that targeted six NOC codes and needed the least score of 69.

In A New Express Entry Draw, Canada Issued 4,750 Invitations To The Candidates

Canada conducted its recent all-program express entry draw on 9th November, 2022. This is the tenth draw since the draws resumed on the 6th of July, 2022. 

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued invitations to 4,750 Canadian applicants with a least Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494. Qualified applicants were invited from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP). All these are programs that run under the Express Entry system.
