Dirty Blonde is a testament to never giving up on yourself. Releasing my fourth studio album is a blessing, but in some strange way this feels like my debut album all over again.
Thank you to the fans for following me on this crazy journey. Thank you for sticking by my side through all the ups and downs. It felt like we were telepathically connected when I couldn't speak up. I'm truly so grateful for you. You kept me going when I wanted to give up.
For the longest time, I was secretly mourning the way my career had drifted. I started off strong and confident, and somewhere along the line I became a watered down version of myself and lost my confidence.
A lot of people counted me out, and there were times when I felt desperate. But I got tired of being a victim. I decided to look inward, and that's when everything changed.
I want to thank my current team, who I believe are the best in the game.
When a lot of people were hesitant to take a chance on me, they stepped up, believed in me, and rolled up their sleeves. I'll never forget that.
Thank you to my manager Alexis and Timeline as well as the whole team at EMPIRE for being incredible partners.
Thank you to all my collaborators. You know who you are. I wouldn't be here without your talent, your patience, and your belief in me.
Most of all, thank YOU for helping me find my voice again.
This is the most honest version of myself I've shared in a long time.
Welcome to Dirty Blonde.
