You know what's a shame? How no one really talks about how supportive Kagome's friends were. Eri, Yuka, and Ayame stuck with Kagome despite her being increasingly distant due to illness. They listened to her worries and tried to steer her away from what they believed to be a toxic relationship.

I feel like they are underappreciated. These girls did their best to be good friends with the information that they were given.

you know, ayame and koga's relationship is also kinda weird, but it doesn't really bother me because:

they're both wolf demons, which Sango describes as "no different than the wolves they command"

tbh I like to think Koga was younger than he looked in that flashback and Ayame is an unreliable narrator in her memories (i.e he seemed much older because he was older than her)

Koga legit forgot he asked her that so he wasn't waiting on a child to grow up and marry him

Koga seemingly never interacted with Ayame in-between that one interaction and Ayame's canon appearance, but with S*ssrin it's established that he clearly visits her and brings her gifts

Ayame doesn't still act like a child.

Things were finally falling into place. At least that’s what the Eight Imperial Princess of the Kou was starting to believe. She had finally captured a dungeon and managed to get her hands on a metal vessel which meant she was one step closer to becoming the warrior she wanted to be. Aside from that she had been set up to marry a King. That was a bit odd to her considering under normal circumstances Hakuei should have been first in line for such an opportunity. It was a bit sad to think that she wouldn’t get to fall in love like everyone else, but she had a duty to the Kou Empire and she was planning on following through with the arranged marriage no matter what.

The pink haired princess was in high spirits all the same. As she sat in the middle of a field of flowers she slowly picked one after another as she worked on the bouquet she held in her hands. It was relaxing sitting around a bunch of flowers and playing with them. It went without saying that she didn’t have many friends she could hang around. In fact Kougyoku found the act of making friends really hard and complicated. She had grown used to being alone though so the silence wasn’t all that new to her. It was peaceful.

As she finally collected enough for a full bouquet her grin widened before she held it up high above her face; the sunlight adding to it’s “perfection”. If Koubun was around her would probably have been trying to get her to get more serious and work harder rather than playing with the flowers. Kougyoku enjoyed his company, but he wasn’t always the easiest to just hang around and have fun with. It was lucky for her that she managed to ditch him at some point in the day. He was sure to complain to her about it later on.

“I wonder what kind of flowers I should have for the ceremony. Both the Emperor and my big brother will be attending…” as she trailed off an imagined the wedding in her head a small pink tint spread across her face. “I hope King  Ahbmad Saluja is a powerful and attractive King. Though I guess to be both would be hoping for too much.”

Now she began going off in her own little imaginary world wondering what kind of man she would be married to. She wasn’t given any details besides his name and his status which left a lot to the imagination. In her head she was picturing someone similar to Kouen the brother she admired so much.

He had been watching her from above, loitering in the shade between the rooftops like a bored black cat. A golden peach in his hand, teeth biting into the sweet flesh as he enjoyed it. 

Soon they would depart in that damned ‘diplomatic mission’ to the next kingdom they’d conquer or ruin. Probably both.

Judar was familiar with the desert, many  times dungeons had been summoned in the abyssal sands. He’d never forget the annoying heat like a feverish hand across his face. Oh, and the fucking annoying radiance of the midday sun. 

But at least this promised entertainment, and his favourite toy-not-toy was right there, sitting in her flower field just like another blossom. All pink with her dress, fragrant silk and frills. Who would ever guess the least regarded daughter would be destined for greatness? 

The words of the nobles and the hostile glares of the court, the outrage when the High Priest had openly chosen the Eighth Imperial Princess to conquer Vinea. Oh, and Judar had enjoyed it so much. The whispers, their anger, the confusion. It had almost been havoc! But then again, Gyokuen would have stopped it. And strangely, she had not deemed it a nuisance. 

Judar stretched and carelessly hurled the peach core behind him. He then dropped from the roof, gently levitating inches from the field of flowers. 

Ah, his oblivious entertainment who would soon travel to Balbadd with him. There she was, the Eighth Imperial princess, clumsy but dignified surrounded by flowers and so alone. 

Judar’s shadow stretched behind her, covering the blossoms and the princess. 

“Yo,” the hand rose to his side and then heavily fell on her petite shoulder.

“Avoiding the old man Koubun again?”

“Hm?”

Kougyoku tilted her head to the side as a shadow slowly blocked out the light from the sun and the feeling of another’s presence slowly crept up on her. She was sure when she came out to play in the flowers none of the others had seen her sneak away so it couldn’t have been Koubun or any of her siblings. It was so many of them around the Princess was sure they wouldn’t even notice if she were missing—or would they? No, the only one that ever really paid her any mind was Kouha. Even if he saw her sneak off he wouldn’t tell a soul.

Before she could turn around a heavy hand was placed on her shoulder and the sound of Kou’s one and only Magi filled the air. She looked back surprised to see him there, but her eyes almost sparkled at the sight. Judar was another one that showed her the time of day. Though he always called her names and spoke to her however he wanted she still considered him an important friend. He put up with her so she hoped he at least felt somewhat the same about her.

“I’m not avoiding anyone,” she answered as she turned her head to glance at him, “Especially not Koubun. I just thought a little fresh air was due.”

She blew air into her cheeks as she pulled her flowers up to cover her face. Kougyoku looked away to try and hide her embarrassment from being caught avoiding Koubun—which meant she wasn’t trying to do any of her duties at the moment. If anyone took a moment to think they would know Judar was also one who snuck away from his duties sometimes. The only difference was she chose to play with the flowers while he often chose to sit somewhere and eat peaches. It was that reason alone she figured it wasn’t a big deal that he had come around.

“I was just thinking about the marriage and imagining what kind of man King Ahbmad Saluja was. No one will give me any information and I’m quite curious.”

She put her nose to the flowers and took in the scent. Her smile returned to her features as she turned to face the Magi fully.

“Do...you know anything Judar?” Kougyoku asked as she stared at him with hopeful eyes.

Despite the fact that he played a joke on her once before and lied about something she still trusted his word. If he said he knew something she was sure he meant it. After all he was the Magi so he must have had a way of getting information.

I don’t wanna flood anyone’s stuff with random artwork so I’ll probably only post an art image once. I haven’t drawn or worked on my painting since last year due to some personal reasons. I was looking through my sketchbooks and I think I wanna pick it back up! Wanted to share one of my favorites though cause my two precious boys are so adorable.

Since it’s been hard to find a job due to the virus I think I might even start selling some artwork.

Just a bit of a warm up.

He used me.

Just what was becoming of the Kou Empire now that the First Imperial Prince, Kouen, was gone. Kouen was admired by many and was able to stay calm in different kinds of situations. He handled important matters well and was fit to be the one on the Kou throne and yet look what had become of him. If only she had known what Sinba's plan was and how he was using her Kougyoku could have done something to protect her famiy, but she didn't. Like the naïve princess everyone thought she was she fell into his trap and for that her family suffered dearly. Due to the events of the Civil War her family was forced to leave thus making Kougyoku the Fifth Empress of the Kou Empire. 

All she wanted to do was prove she was worth something. Prove that she wasn't weak and for a moment it seemed like everything was falling into place. She had conquered a dudgeon and learned how to become a warrior that could be of use to their Kingdom and their Magi so why did things still turn out this way? There wasn't much time for her to process the events. The Kou empire needed a ruler and she was all they had. Even if they had to rely on the International Alliance she was going to keep her Kingdom moving. 

"Is everything alright?" The sound of a female broke through the quiet air as Kougyoku's gaze was brought back from staring out at the Empire from the balcony of the palace. "Would you like some tea, Miss? It'll help you relax so you can enjoy a nice break."

Now that was something she would kill for. She had been working on overdrive since she stepped into the throne and her worries were starting to show. If Kougyoku didn't come up with something quick they were bound to fall. Sinbad really was a bad man. To use a girl who had fallen in love with him and then toss her to the side like it was nothing. It was a despicable act and one she would never forgive him for. Kougyoku thought he could be trusted and he proved to her that he was just another person on the list of people who wanted to prove that she wasn't fit to be apart of the royal blood of the Kou.

"Tea would be lovely right about now. Oh! But please do inform Kobun that I will need him to come here shortly. We have a lot to go over about the future Kou plans and the quicker we start sorting through things the better. Thank you." She gave a small bow before leaving Kougyoku to her own thoughts once more. On extra stressful days like this she really did miss the old days of playing with Judar as a child. The thought quickly escaped her mind as she shook her head. She didn't have the luxury to look back on the old days anymore. This was her last chance to make her siblings proud which meant she had to keep her eyes on the goal and keep pushing through her own feelings on the matter. It was the only way she could think of to make up for letting Sinbad spy on their Empire and get his way. After all saving the Kou Empire would be the perfect way to steer away from his plans and prove to him just how much of a force to be reckoned with she was.

Introduction

I haven’t made any post yet and figured a small little introduction and such would be a nice first post. I’m a ball of awkward so please bare with me~

I’m 26 years old and I enjoy writing (like who doesn’t around here, right?) I’ve been roleplaying for years now and started out on myspace, after that era I took a bit of a break and focused more on writing fanfics. Eventually I moved my roleplaying over to roleplayer.me and finally planted myself down on Aniroleplay.com. As of lately that place has been zapping my love for the hobby so I figure I’d come around here and give it a shot---I’ve heard all good things. 

But enough about that! Here’s some quick rp info.

Though I roleplay Kougyoku from Magi I am open to other verses as well. I’ve seen a good amount of anime and read my fair share of manga. So long as we can get creative about things I’m cool~

When it comes to roleplaying I strive to write enough detail to help everyone writing with me visually see what’s been written play out in their head. If I’m off my game and someone doesn’t like my response I’m always more than willing to redo it. 

I usually single ship my characters. I get bored of romance fast so I try not to have too many romance roleplays going on at once.

Romance is never required when writing with me. 

I don’t do anything that involves forcing the characters I play into doing things for others. 

I don’t mind writing with multiple people playing the same character nor do I have a problem with interacting with people playing the same character as me. Like I said so long as we can get creative I’m good~

I think that’s it?

Once I get the hang of rping on this site I’m sure I’ll do things more properly. ^^ Don’t be afraid to chat with me ooc or interact with my Kougyoku!

Alright, I am determined to help build the Magi fandom back up. This is an Aladdin blog, which I can RP different times upon request; default would be just before Sinbad ‘mind controls’ everyone. Also, I do have other verses for other fandoms should you not know anything about Magi. So, give this a like and/or reblog so I can follow you and we can RP.
