Arshis Javeri is an internationally certified MAKE-UP FOREVER PROFESSIONAL freelance make-up artist from Mumbai. Apart from make-up he specializes in hair styling and is a professional self-grooming trainer. On returning to India from his studies in Dubai and London he took up various assignments. Arshis has an impressive list of clientele for whom he is on call. From being a trainer for professional make-up courses certified by MAX Factor to writing a page full article in a Weekly News Paper Arshis built a list of patrons. Within the first six months he bagged over 10 bridal assignments during his first wedding season. Arshis is a part of a social organization Z.Y.N.G (Zorastrian Youth for Next Generation), where he actively takes part through sponsoring dance talent contests to make-up workshops for the youth. Inspiration to pursue a career in make-up came at a young age for Arshis as he would study seasonal make-up trends published in various fashion and beauty print media. He began experimenting with make-up and developing his own techniques in the use of cosmetics. His passion for grooming brought out the best in him when he when he was handed the responsibility of Grooming Instructor for the fastest growing airline in India. As a certified trainer with Kingfisher Training Academy Arshis traveled extensively to train the future flight attendants of the country and monitoring their grooming standards. But, this was just not enough to satisfy his passion for the aesthetic. So he spent over nine months receiving hands-on training at Touch N Glow - Indore which has been awarded Central India’s Best Beauty Salon and Spa for two years in a row. Arshis has worked with editorials such as OK Magazine, L’Officiell and has had his work feature on cover pages of Times Of India, YUVA and India Today. His makeup blogs and celebrity look breakups on Nykaa.com are a fashionista’s delight. He was the Executive Director – Makeup for the Resort Fashion Week 2011 and handled a team of over 16 artists. He styled looks for over 18 designers during this event including India’s top notches such as Manish Malhotra, Shantanu & Nikhil , Narendra Kumar , Priya Kataria Puri and many more. In 2012 Arshis joint hands with the international hotel chain Shangri La to standardize and train the entire staff in grooming and makeup. He also is a consultant makeup advisor for one of the world’s best cosmetic brand – Guerlain. 2013 has kicked off with training the staff of Kaya Skin Clinic pan national towards a new look for the brand. With a deep set interest in make and research he was approached by a local newspaper called Parsi Times that he writes full page article for every week and gives makeover to ladies of all age groups every month. His beauty blogs and celebrity look breakups have become one of the highest clicked pages on India’s latest beauty website Nykaa.com. He frequently visits glamour events and fashion weeks, including fashion capitals London and various parts of Europe and Asia to keep him in tune and expand his vision with upcoming make-up and style trends.
