Hi all! Bit of an update post.
It's been a very, veeeery long time, huh?
I went through a horrible art burnout and for a few years I really just didn't draw much at all besides commissions; eventually even that stopped, and I just didn't draw period for a good year and a half. I wanted to, I did, but I just couldn't. I was in denial of it, honestly, saying “oh I’ll draw this later, later” and never posting anything, and I’m sorry I made promises I didn’t keep.
However, BTD TikTok has reignited my interest in the game and the characters, and once I finish off my last owed commissions, I'm going to slowly work on making some art for myself again; preferably of my favorite boys!! I haven't drawn Lawrence in a long time and I think it'll be fun to draw him in my newer style! I’m done taking commissions for the first half of 2026 minimum, so I will have time to focus on art for myself and unwind, and I’ll make sure some of it is of Law and Ren :)
I can't guarantee when this will be, but I'm aiming for early 2026; late January or February, hopefully. If not, then it likely got super busy because I'm planning for a trip and I'll update as I go!
There's a lot going on in life for me right now, so I'm going to try and squeeze in a piece, even just a sketch if I can
So, yeah! Even if I don't get the traction I did years ago, I think it'll be fun to post my art again, and I’ll continue to do so even if sporadically.
