Calling artists to consider!

Hi there! I’m PJ (or more noteably @seijoh-no) and I’m planning a Seijou-centric Fanzine!

This is simply a little signal to raise awareness of the fanzine before applications open on October 15th, 2016, to allow artists to consider whether they would want to join the zine or not! 

Please follow us if you’d like to keep updated on future information, and feel free to reblog this to raise awareness! (we’d love you to, in fact!)

PLEASE READ: VIDEO + ART CONTEST I’m very happy to announce that a Haikyuu video is currently in the works! @kotachun and I are currently collaborating with fellow instagramers @cluelessfish, @elisabethkaseda and YouTuber @backstagehands! In celebration we will be holding an Art Contest and winning art will be featured at the end of the video. The deadline will be NOV 3! This is subject to change so keep your eyes out. We will be choosing (5) winners. Submissions will be chosen and judged by our whole team.

THE RULES ARE: - Must be haikyuu art! Such as any AU pics or fanart - Art can be digital or traditional - No tracing or copying pictures. These submissions will not be judged! - Limit (3) entries per person - You MUST submit with the hashtag “#HQTOAArtContest” - Must submit entries by NOV 3. - We will not judge solely on skill but on creativity also! Don’t be shy!

Ryu-kun! Remember him?

Here’s Ryu-kun with Sota Aoyama (who portrays Touta Matsuda in the films) on the right, from a promotional event in August. No word yet on if Aoyama will be around to grasp your arm too.

Seriously, the powers that be are holding a contest/recruitment for people to dress up as Ryu-kun, the advertising mascot of the film. If you win, it pays 60,000 yen for the day (about $590), covers your transportation expenses, and they’ll give you apples (yes really). You have until September 25th to enter, winners are announced September 28th, and the event dates are in October. Details here if you want to enter.

Ahahahaha. About that... Basically, I am a fail at talking to famous people. We got a cute photo together, but the photographer had to tell me to stand closer, and I was barely able to stammer out a "Thank you" to him before I fled. I've been absolutely mortified ever since... Moral of the story: I can never leave my house again.
