Okay but the way Tigress isn’t even phased by the Wuxi Finger Hold. This move had Tai Lung himself cowering and on the verge of begging for mercy. Meanwhile Tigress doesn’t even blink.

Even without the logistics of Po having to master chi to truly stop Kai this is such a great way to show the amount of trust Tigress has in Po. She doesn’t fear the WFH even a little because she doesn’t fear Po. Because she knows he would never hurt her.

And he couldn’t ever hurt her anyway but still, the implicit trust is so cool.

not to get overly poetic about it but...nalu as a dynamic is kinda crazy to me like. what if we were best friends? what if we were kinda silly and ridiculous and stupid about each other? what if we were connected across time and space for 400 years? what if we bumped into each other on a random tuesday? what if you changed my life? what if we had a dogged, unwavering and irrational faith in each other right from the get go? what if the greatest tragedy of my life was directly linked to the greatest tragedy of yours? what if, in a different timeline, i watched you and the rest of my friends die, and there was nothing i could do about it? what if i watched a future version of you die and i sobbed over your broken body? what if you were my last tether to humanity? what if i broke the laws of magic to save you? what if you came back to me in the place we first met? what if we were meant to be in every single universe? what if we still chose each other, every single time, anyway?

No but like, I actually think about this a lot because the way he is called a monster time after time by opponents, but isn’t bothered because he knows he human, because while he was raised by a dragon, that’s the only thing that’s different in his mind. Then he finds out that he actually is a “monster” and has an identity crisis so bad he nearly dies from it. And even after he has supposedly decided to be human he still gets upset and defensive when he finds out that Happy let Lucy know about him being END. He doesn’t want her to see him as a monster. He is tired of being a monster, he just wants to be human. And I think this also ties into why he has been so adamant through hyq to enemies that he has decided to be human, despite them pointing out that he is very much not human. He is clinging to it but honestly I don’t think he ever fully convinced himself that he’s human. It’s almost like he back to square one, everyone calling him a monster, but this time he’s finding it hard not to believe them.
