I hope at some point people will be able to read her story that I believe to be the best I've written. . I hope your nano is going well. If you are struggling with your writing like I am with thinking that nothing will come from this story your writing, then stop thinking about the future of your writing and live in the now with your story. HERE IS THE COVER FOR MY BOOK!!!! (Sorry if you have seen this before. I finally decided to just keep this cover and not change it like I thought I would want.) . I love this cover and everytime I look at it I get so happy, as well as hopeful. I hope you all like it too. . Here is the summary for book one: After the great Demon battle that happened back in 2012, everyone believed things would go smoothly, back to the way things were. Instead, in the year 2030, they were wrong and kept secrets from everyone. Juri Night is an eighteen-year-old halfer, half-human, half-demon, who lives near the city of Chicago, where Demons roam. Juri is born with golden eyes, which is making people watch her closely so she doesn't become like her Uncle, that has been missing for some time. What nobody knows, especially her best friend Jesse Cylain, is that Juri has a voice inside her head that wants to take control whenever it can. Soon she learns there is a battle rising with a man she knows all to well and four generals, who listen only to him. A battle that could be worse than the previous one, turning it into an all-out war. Juri must come to the decision if she will stand up to stop the war or to sit back or let someone else do it for her. . I'm so excited to get this book out into the world and have people read it. I hope you guys will love Juri and her friends, as well as the rest of the characters as much as I do. I haven't picked an official release date but I do know it will release some time in 2019. . I've been doing a lot of reading recently instead of writing. Mostly because I just haven't had the urge to write at the moment. . I got a new writing book. This one has been so helpful and I always find myself grabbing it if I need to find a way to describe or show the emotion a character has. Starting some work on a new book. I'm excited to get back into this story again after so long. I'm both excited and nervous for nanowrimo, though I'm hoping to be able to stick to this year. All of my stories are written in notebooks and journals first. . I hope to someday have these stories become actual books for people to read and enjoy. I will continue to try to make these stories into books. . My writing has been going well, but there are days when I can't pick up the pen because I'm afraid it will just always be on paper. Never to be seen by other eyes. I keep pushing through those thoughts, but it gets hard sometimes. . I hope your writing is going good and that are still going for your dreams. Don't give up. One of the authors who has shaped my writing is @therealsjmaas. I have learned quite a bit from her books, and hope to continue to as I read her new books. One of the things I learned from her books is to not be afraid of putting characters in dark places. To always push them. . Getting to meet her was amazing and I hope at some point to see her again. I'm so close at being done putting in edits. I can't wait to finally take a step back from this book to take the time to continue to look for beta readers and and editor. I'm excited about the path I'm on. This books has helped me with both my anxiety and depression. It was the book that made me realize what I'm good at and what I want to be; an author. Life is never easy. Trying to create art in any form and making a living off of it is hard. Writing has always been an outlet for me, as well as reading. I always try to make time either in my day. Sometimes I can do both. Other times I have to choose one over the other. While also with that I'm also trying to get back into my blog, which I have been having an urge to work on. Even though I'm still getting rejections, I still always hold my head up knowing that those rejections can not stop me. I'm still learning to not be stressed of where I'm at. That it's okay that I'm 22 and my writing career hasn't started, because at some point it will. I love editing with a blue pen instead of red. I've always found blue to be a calming color compared to red in my opinion. The editing this round is going by really fast, and I'm hoping to be done with it by the end of this week. After that it's off to the computer to put all of the edits in. . . . Rereading this book is making me fall in love with this story again and reminds me of what some people have already said about this story. If you think I'm nuts for editing this first book again, then yes, in a way your right, but I just had a big breakthrough and wanting to go through it again. My traditional publishing route has been nothing but silence and rejection. I'm starting to lose hope, but I know that I can always do self-publishing, which might cost a lot of money though I feel will be worth it to get my book out there, to get Juri's story out there. Just have to keep my head up with a positive attitude. I will be looking for beta readers hopefully soon this time. Fellow writers, how were you able to find your beta readers? Writing a story is hard. Getting a rejection for a story you put so much thought, work, and love into is hard. But sometimes you just have to keep going and sending it out. If people have already read your story and loved it, then use that, as well as your love for it, push towards your dream. Keep going. Don't stop.
