Oh, hi! I guess there was a problem with my inbox because I didn’t see your message, I’m so sorry. When it comes to my interests in literature, I’m afraid that I may be a bit cliché: The Picture of Dorian Gray and Dracula are by far my favorite novels ever, they left a lasting impression on me. I also really like Poe’s short stories. I recently read The Wives of The Dead, by Nathaniel Hawthorne, and really enjoyed it.

What is it about the darker things in life that intrigues you?

Well, that is quite a hard question, very interesting though! As far as I can remember, I have always been attracted to dark and gloomy things. When I was a kid, I sometimes went for a walk in a cemetery and found it very peaceful. I realized there was beauty in darkness and developed a certain sense of mysticism, I am not a religious person insofar as I don’t practice anything, but I like to think there are greater forces surrounding us. I’m also fascinated by the depth of feelings such as sadness or madness. There are so many things to explore in the human being. I always identify to villains or freaks. I hope you will find my answer satisfying, my dear.
