Glacia Knight, previously titled Lady Icysocks, shifted from a position of Head of Records at SMASH after the Tabuu Incident. Fearful of a second happening and scarred permanently by the attempted take-over, the woman sought to learn to defend herself in such an incident. 

What was originally a temporary mentorship under Meta Knight for combat training turned into a permanent stationing in Popstar and the connected lands. 

As of late, she is undergoing full training under Tsukino Lao towards becoming a Star Warrior.

Writing Commissions

Hey there! I know I haven’t been on much, and that’s going to change this week, but right now, I really need your guys’ help!

A few months ago I recently got accepted into college and plan to live on campus, but come to present day, and I still haven't been able to pay the down payment on living in the dorms ($300), which I need to pay soon if I want to get paired with someone and have a lot less rent to pay.

Unfortunately, I broke my ankle a few days ago, and I’m going to be mostly home-bound, and from what I’ve seen, all these ‘work at home’ jobs require a degree or work experience, which I have neither of. That’s why I’m going to craft you some enjoyable fics or drafts in exchange for some cash.  Please please please at least give this a look-over, and if you aren’t going to commission me, please reblog this and spread the word!

This was before his heartfelt meeting with Wah, and as such he was still alone in his pain. In being asked this, Sam’s eyes went wide with worry. What would she think? What would happen to her? Can he really even do that to her?

Samuel shook his head furiously. “Oh nononononononononono, NO. I caaan’t do that. W-what are you thinking? Do you know what sort of sham-shambles Ollie will be if I tell her I got fired? W-what if she got mad, lost her job too!? No.” The ex-announcer shakily got up, hands on the wall as he made his way to the door. 

“I-i-i mean I’ve done- enoough shit to myself. I-I can’t ruin my love’s life! Like, g-god what was I thinking, t-tryin’a be some dumbass ‘c-corporate hero’ a-as if I actually made a DIFFERENCE. Pfft.. hahaha!” He stops in the middle of the hallway, holding his booze by the bottle’s neck as he burst out laughing hysterically, slowly dissolving into tears for a few minutes.

He regains his slow travel to the front doors.

"Sam ya nerd! It's-a been forever! How have ya---WOAH. Uh. You-a okay there?"

He didn’t even make it 15 feet from the entrance, slumped against the wall with half of the bottle downed. Sam recognized that voice, even in his overly drunken state, he’d know who it belongs to.

A high-pitched giggle escaped his lips in response, his head turning over so he could look at Wah in the dark of the night. “Heeeey Wah, it’s been- forever! Whoops! Haha! You already said that.” He gave a nonsensical wink the plumber’s way.

Taking another swig from the bottle, Sam’s arms hung back down, his body sprawled out carelessly before his purple-painted friend. 

After a despondent silence passed, Samuel’s face scrunched up as he wracked his brain. “Oh! You know what I was thinkin’? I remember what you said about those corporate jackasses and maaaan, you were right!” He giggled once more, his tone still light and bubbly even as tears streamed down his face. “Th-those dickholes don’t know good-” A hiccup interrupted. “-talent wh-when they see it.”

“Kicked out Wah! I was kicked out! Can-can you believe it!?” He laughed on, his joyous attitude fizzling out slowly as his head hung low. “…they kicked me out, f-for real, you know?”

“Wait, WHAT?” His arms automatically shot out towards Sal’s brooding shoulders. He reeked. And if it weren’t for the gloved hands, he could imagine that he was drenched in a booze scented sweat. “You’re a kidding, right? Pullin’ Waluigi’s leg? Cus there’s no way Imma’ believin’ that. You’re like their bread and butter! Why would they…”

But no matter how much he tried denying it, the slumped shoulders that remained told him this was no joke. They fired him. Gave him the boot. Kicked him out and left him out to dry. After he’d put so much effort into the tournaments. What was suppose to be a routinely assist’s check up was turning out to be an evening of consultation. Gosh, how could this have even happened?

“Oh geeze… Sam, hey pally, it’s-a uh, i-it’s okay. You did-a your best bustin’ your chops everyday and they’re-a jerks for not recognizing. But uh… How about we chat somewhere that aint here. Like your house where you can get some snooze or clean up or whatever.”

There’s only so much a man can do to hold up his pride, even with half a bottle of fiery liquid fueling his stupor. After Waluigi held him up, Sam couldn’t help but collapse, falling into the man’s arms with his face buried in the plumber’s neck, tears flooding onto the hoodie as the ex-announcer wailed in pain.

“Oh W-wah! I don’t got a house now! the a-a-a-apartment was all I had and I-” His composure for words is lost, holding onto his friend as tightly as his wobbly, drained arms could. The realization really sunk in at that point. He had nowhere to go. He was a jobless, homeless loser with only a silly get-up and a full suitcase to his name.

He continued to cry into Waluigi’s shoulder, now soaked from the sweaty tears that Sam still dug out of his eyes. It went on like this for a little while, his tear ducts eventually cried for mercy themselves, drying up, it was just a sad man with his forehead on his friend. 

“I…” He started, a hollow, sobbing tone to his voice. “I’m done for. I’m no longer the announcer… I’m just-” He held off saying it, denying his fate for just a few precious moments of disbelief, hoping that in some way his ex-bosses reconsidered.

But as the night only invited silence to their conversation, he knew it wouldn’t be true, and resigned to his fate. “..I’m just Sam..”
