"You're adorable!" Angel beamed (anyone!)

Samuel felt a red flush come across his face, “I-I’m not adorable… What are you talking about?”

“About myself? Well, I work for the Ministry of Joy. I’m the head of the file management for the Smiler project before that I was one of their ‘doctors’. I’ve been with the Ministry for a very long time, very long…”

Angel shook her head. “Not your work” she paused. “You as a person, like interning back story’s, cool adventures. Things like that”

“Well, I was born in Scotland and lived there for a while. I haven’t really had anything interesting happen to me or anything. I don’t know... I’ve lived around the park for most of my life and made a few friends... and some who are more than friends.”

"You're adorable!" Angel beamed (anyone!)

Samuel felt a red flush come across his face, “I-I’m not adorable… What are you talking about?”

He started to wonder off in the direction of a food store, “Angel’s a nice name you know.”

She walked with him. “Why thank you, Samuel is to” she said blushing a little.

“It’s nothing special, I really prefer Sam though, okay?”

She nodded. “As you wish sir”

He looks uncomfortable, “Maybe don’t call me sir either, I get enough of that at work…”

“Sorry, I’m old fashioned” she said smiling. “So Sam.. Where are we going for lunch?”

“I don’t know, I thought I just find somewhere and just eat, I’m not too fussy.” He thinks for a moment, “Is there somewhere you’d like to go?”

She nodded. “I’m the same. You can pick”

“How about here, it seems good enough” He is standing in front of a small cafe.

Angel nodded. “Sure”

He sits down at one of the outdoor tables, “So what now?”

She smiled. “Tell me about yourself Sam”

"You're adorable!" Angel beamed (anyone!)

Samuel felt a red flush come across his face, “I-I’m not adorable… What are you talking about?”

He started to wonder off in the direction of a food store, “Angel’s a nice name you know.”

She walked with him. “Why thank you, Samuel is to” she said blushing a little.

“It’s nothing special, I really prefer Sam though, okay?”

She nodded. “As you wish sir”

He looks uncomfortable, “Maybe don’t call me sir either, I get enough of that at work…”

“Sorry, I’m old fashioned” she said smiling. “So Sam.. Where are we going for lunch?”

She giggled. “I enjoy being kind to strangers and being able to make them smile or blush in your case” she joked giggling

And as if on cue Samuel started blushing again. “Well, um, I’ve never seen you around the park before…”

She nodded. “I come and go”. “Like a light switch” she nodded again smiling. She had been around for a while but no one ever notices her

“A light switch…? Nevermind. I get the meaning. So up to anything interesting?”

She shrugged. “I just was walking around looking for friendly faces I guess”

“Good plan I guess but this isn’t really the right part of the park for it. More likely to run into one of my workers or superiors than a friendly face.”

Angel shrugged. “Well it worked” she smiled at him

I guess it did.” He grins back, “I was about to go grab lunch, do you want to join me?”

“That would be nice” she continued to smile at him.
