How did y'all get together (canon era)

Peggy: “We met at the Winter’s Ball. I was dancing with John, and Charlie got so jealous! At least that motivated him to come and talk to me…”

Charles: “It’s funny that Laurens was trying so hard to keep me away from you, but it’s actually thanks to him that I gained the courage to approach you.”

Peggy: “After that night we started writing to each other! Our relationship grew from there.”

Charles: We’re not married yet, only engaged, but Pegs already picked out her dress with her sisters.
