OOC: Hi! Rogue here from @rogueartlad . Welcome to Caelis' ask/roleplay blog! Who is Caelis? Caelis is a he/they, mid-twenties in age. He's a transmasc Expendable OC that seems to be very hyper-aware of the circumstances around him. He is autistic, but in the monotone, verbal encyclopedia kind of way, so times where he should be asking a question tonally sound like a statement (as shown above).

“I consider myself something called demiromantic. I only feel a romantic attraction to people if I have a strong emotional bond with them. Romance is really hard for me to understand and grasp so I feel that label aligns with me well, it’ll make sense when it happens. That’s my romantic orientation. Whoever I date, if they align with me well, I can imagine a family and such with them. I could marry them if it comes to that.”

“Sexual orientation is different. That doesn’t need the romance attached to it unless you want it too. Based on you description, you sound demisexual. Make sense.”

"So I see, I wasn't really taught that. My parents wasn't againist people who had different sexualities to them or gender identities...I mean my sister, Naia is a trans-woman after all."

"It's very so common back then, I mean yeah it was common but in my town, many people who wasn't straight or had a different gender identity was hiding it from homophobic people or it wasn't known and coined yet, this was 2013 after all making it uncommon in the society back then. I grew up in 1995-2012 If we are going off 1 year old to 18 years old since I was born in 1994."

{Calypso looks away for a moment}

"My school was very old fashioned so it wasn't brought up..."

{Calypso sighs}

"So I am very new to this."

[Caelis listened carefully. He had that same blank expression on his face he seemed to hold consistently, but he was listening closely. Nodding at Calypso spoke, just to communicate to her he was listening.] "It's stuff you don't really find yourself getting exposed to when you're young, I think. I don't know. Different places and different times. I'm a transmasc individual myself, so. My knowledge on all this only came about the same time I wanted to transition. It's complicated in the beginning. You're not alone." [He reached out and gently handed Calypso something. A rock? I mean, it was kinda cool with all the stripes? But it was just a rock. Weird guy.]

"I started off genderfluid in my identity. Decided fuck it and started taking testosterone when I was 18. Decided I was transmasc. I went from.... Lesbian, to very bisexual, to very gay, to very asexual, to very bisexual again... The pipeline kept going to where I am now. Demiromantic bisexual. I think playing around with labels is a good way to figuring your shit out, it's healthy."

“So they float a little in the water, but if you leave them in they’ll grow so big they fill the bottle.” [And he turned it right side up, the orbeez floating to the top.] “I like them cause of the colours. I used to put them on my windowsill back home, so when the sun rose the light would shine through the colours.”

Sooooo, house got flooded. Sorry if art is gonna be late :’)

As of right now things seem generally okay. Our geyser exploded last night when I was streaming on twitch. Thankfully the power tripped before the ceiling almost caved in so by the time we were outside, so we were good in that department. Had to relocate some of our cats outside in a washing basket and a cat carrier, it was absolutely chaotic as fuck. Happened at like midnight too, so there’s that.

Currently we are okay. Water has been turned off while the geyser is broken. Given the electrics and how our house is wired up, we’re able to have electricity for sockets but no lights are available. We are waiting on seeing if someone can come replace the geyser, and we’re hoping to claim on some house insurance cause of it.

Overall, we’re okay. Cats and dogs are fine, I’m fine. PC is okay, just some plugs and adapters were underwater, but for now we’re good. I don’t think I can express enough how deep the water was in my PC room, it was ankle-deep. We’re looking into fixing it all.
