god I absolutely hate that I’m here right now. 

Today is 6/24/19

this morning my mom showed me the pay or quit notice we received on Friday. How it got this bad I am unsure, however now if we cannot come up with 2400 dollars all of us - including my very sick elderly grandma and our three children (one infant!) - are out on the street. I get paid tomorrow and my mom gets paid twice on friday but it’s not going to be enough. I’m trying to come up with 1000$$$ by 6/28/19

if you do donate, I will try to compensate you. I’m not good at much, but I do cross stitch and i can make bracelets and write stuff and some seedy junk if you want that lmfao. Literally anything yall. if you can’t donate please boost.

Mary smiled a little. “It’s nice that you have a love of children. I’ve gotten attached for a few of the kids that come through here. It’s hard to see them in such a state. “Mary commented. “Did you ever have any of your own?”

Mary shook her head “Afraid not, only man I’ve ever loved never returned my affections. Adored me to the ends of the earth but not the same way.” Mary said shaking her head she Bert was a wonderful and sweet man but....well there were rules about Squibs marrying wizards and frankly Mary thought it wouldn’t be fair anyway

“Besides the way I travel for work it wouldn’t be fair to him any way,”

Hawkeye was smiling again. So Wonka used to be trouble. He wondered how much trouble he could get him into now. 

“You sound like you are usually dragged into trouble,” Hawkeye stated like he was trying to foreshadow something. The smirk had returned like he was plotting which was never a good idea. He already liked the man and now he wanted to bring him along for his crazy adventures. 

As they got to the latrine Hawkeye stopped. 

“Here we are beautiful’“

Wonka caught it and nodded a little “Not to say I haven’t caused some mischief in my day, I remember dying one of my classmates hair blue right before the ball once because they decided it would be a good idea to write some rather awful things on the bathroom walls about Mary and I happened to over hear before Val did.” Wonka admitted shaking his head  “That was an interesting Ball, if it hadn’t been for Val and Mary her date probably would have beaten me senseless.” 

When they got the Latrine Wonka smiled and nodded

“Thank you for your hospitality,” Wonka said heading in to brush his teeth which he got over with quickly

Hawkeye rubbed his hands together thinking of the pranking he could get away with. “How many of these do you think you can get?” He said with a smirk. He needed to get B.J in on this too.

"unfortunately they aren't my creation and rather difficult for Val to get ahold of but I can see if she can get me a couple of boxes" Wonka said shrugging

"unfortunately most of our childhood sweets and gag shops know Valerie by name and likely wouldn't let her through the door. She got into quite the bit of mischief when we were younger not that Mary and I weren't accomplices but it was usually her idea" Wonka said shrugging a bit he remembered the gag shop in diagonally wouldn't even let her through the doors by their fourth year and

Hawkeye let out a laugh. “Oh, I would pay to see that happen. He would freak out. Then probably go complain to Hotlips.” He said smirking. Seems like Wonka would be a lot of fun to have around. 

“Most of the people around here are great. Frank isn’t one of them”

Wonka chuckled

"I'll see if I can get Valerie to send me some and one of her old journals, she actually used to log which ones were which Because they all look remarkably similar, I remember watching my headmaster get one that he thought was lemon but turned out to be earwax. I don't think I've laughed so hard in my entire life" Wonka admitted laughing a bit at the memory

"hence starting the journal to be able to avoid such mistakes in the future. After all I'd hate for you or BJ to go for an apple and get a frog legs one."

It had all been in good fun after all though he knew it sounded incredibly strange to anyone who hadn't grown up going to hogsmeade or diagonally but he was sure stranger things had happened.

“Good. Did you always want to work in the army?” She asked. Margaret had grown up in it. Most people had wanted to help, were drafted in, or some just really loved the military like her and Frank.

"no I wanted to be a teacher," Mary told her shaking her head a bit "I used to even tutor kids at my school that we're younger and needed help with their studies. Sadly I was expelled so I was a nanny and joined the army at the start of the war Because I wanted to help children." Mary explained to her keeping her back story short and sweet, she didn't need to know everything right away anyway.

she had to give her something at least, manners were important even in an argument about who said what. 

“Fine. i guess. I’ll back off a bit next time” Margaret said trying to play nicer. She needed too. This wasn’t someone who was below her and they could have the potential to be friends.

Mary nodded “Thank you, I do appreciate it.” Mary said to her “I know we have different styles of working but seeing as we have to share this war I’d like to try and get along.” Mary told her there was no point in fighting each other as well after all.

Margaret smiled. “I agree. I can be…… abrasive sometimes but when you grow up in a army house hold it does that” she admitted

Mary nodded a little agreeing with her though she had to admit that she had no idea what it was actually like to be an army brat although she did have sort of strict rules growing up as well

“So maybe we can try to be friends?” Margaret offered. She wasn’t sure how to go about this.

Mary smiled and nodded  “I’d say so,” Mary said Margaret seemed nice though she did seem a little stiff to the rules, Mary supposed she could to on the occasion but Mary also knew when the rules needed to be bent

“Candy maker eh? Sissy is what i think!” Frank snapped still taking one for himself. He glared at the new person. “What flavor is it?” 

Hawkeye rolled his eyes. “No way is a good way to meet frank.” He took another drink.

“Yeah says the drunk” Frank snapped not daring to put it in his mouth yet. 

“I’m not drunk! Im just 95% alcohol” Hakweye said proudly earning a laugh from B.J

Wonka already made a mental note to try and get Frank to try the every flavored beans when he could get ahold of them, technically wizard candy but who would know? with any luck frank would end up with a vomit flavored one.

“Several retorts come to mind but I’d rather not go on report my first day here,” Wonka sad to him simply as he took a seat on the cot, guess he couldn’t be friends with everyone after all but certainly revenge wouldn’t be frowned upon to seriously especially for something so mild right?

Hawkeye grinned. “I can give the retorts for you!” He said perking up.

B.J. shook his head.

“Frank you have a stick up your ass” he said taking a drink and standing up.

“Hawkeye I’d shut up if I were you.” Frank said getting annoyed.

“You are the most annoying man I’ve ever met” he said walking closer.

“I’m warning you” he whined.

“Also you are basically married to the army cheating on her with Margaret. Who is also married to the army. Its one big love affair really. I think you should all tell each other. Then get over it and get off everyones case because wow that relationship is causing drama” Hawkeye pretended like that rant tired him out and her collapsed on his cot

Frank sputtered for a moment. “Nothing is going on with her!” He yelled.

B.J. and Hawkeye cracked up laughing.

“With the army?” B.J. asked.

“Or Margaret?” Hawkeye asked.

“We have proof of Both” they said in unison.

Frank sputtered again going red.

Wonka couldn’t stop himself from bursting into laughter at the bickering, they were like a group of children all together it was pretty comical.  “So do you sell tickets to this show or do I get in free for giving out candy?” Wonka asked them quirking a brow at the three of them though he was curious to meet this “Margaret” now and see what she had to say about the whole thing. At least wonka knew he wouldn’t be bored while he was here.

Wonka stood then  “right I suppose I’ll be turning in, could either of you gentlemen point me towards the Litrine so i could brush my teeth?” Wonka asked them grabbing his things from his bag it was going to be a long time here but so far it seemed like he had some good tentmates to make it at least a little more bearable

“Anyway you want to pay for the show is fine . we are on anytime the war is with occasional weekends.” Hawkeye rambled.

“We’re only off when we sleep” b.j added.

Hawkeye turned towards wonka since he was already up. “I’ll show you” he said grinning.

"remind me to introduce Frank to a treat from my childhood 'Bertie Bott's ever flavor beans' jelly beans that literally taste like everything. I don't think I've ever managed to get a box without getting a vomit flavored one, though I fear our 'macho man' may enjoy that" Wonka said to him once they were out of earshot of the tent

Franks eyes narrowed. “McArthur is the Greatest General we’ve ever had! I think you need to learn a thing or two!” He snapped.  He already didn’t like the man. Thought it didn’t take much to get him to not like a person.

“Told you wonka trick question,” Hawkeye said quiped causing him to get a glare from Frank,

Frank looked at the thing in his hand. “Gob-what?”He said with slight Disgust. “what the hell is that?”

Well it definitely wasn’t the reaction he thought he was getting and he was a little taken aback

“Forgive me let me explain, I’m a candy maker, you may have heard of my brand if you have children particularly Wonka bars are popular.” Wonka explained as he poured some of the Gobstoppers into his hand and popped one in his mouth

“It’s candy, I thought I should bring some over with me because I’ve never heard of someone being upset over sweets and thought it was a good way to get to know my new tent mates at least.” Wonka explained to him he again offered the few in his hand to Frank 

“if that’s not your fancy I have some nerds as well, they’re sugar crystals covered in flavored shells they’re delicious it’s like Rock candy.” He explained
