In the hallway, Ring looks down to see this adorable black rabbit booking it toward the office and crouches down in front of it.

"Hello little one. How did you get insi-" he squints before his eyes widen, "Nica? Oh no, they got to you too."

Ring gently picks up Rabbit Nica and positions some of his coat around him for added warmth. "Don't worry big bruder. We'll get you back to normal. Is the person who did this nearby? Uh...squeak once for yes and twice for no."

Nica groomed over his long floppy ears out of instinct as Ring picked him up, shaking his head vigorously and sniffing with a very cute squinting expression. He gave a chirping squeak a couple of times, poking his paw in the direction he'd seen them go.

"Verwandelt mich in eine Ente und verschwindet dann," he mutters before resting his hand on his hip and pretending to nudge at something with his foot. "I'll have to ask her not to do that again later, then."

Meanwhile, Dari is still waddling in the hallway, tiny webbed feet making slippery noises as they stepped on the tiled floor.

He continues moving at an abnormal speed for a duck — (perks of being a Cursed duckie I suppose...) — until he finally arrives at a balcony overlooking the lush gardens of the Crown Castle.

He somehow manages to hop on to the railing, staring down curiously at a certain red figure taking a stroll.

A very slow quack escapes from dari's golden beak, emphasising on each syllable. He's teetering precariously on the edge.

Ring walks in front of Duck!Dari and leans down, looking into his beady little avian eyes and lightly scritches the top of his head.

"Now now, Dari, don't go trying to fly off the balcony." He speaks in the same gentle tone he normally reserves for animals as he looks at his boss in amusement.

He (reluctantly) leans into Ring's touch, finding it the sensation more calming than he would have ever expected to in his... bird life.

𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙜𝙤𝙙… Nika sighed, still grasping Darius in distrust, but his grip grew a bit more relaxed, breathing easy for now.

A very outrageous string of quacks flew from his mouth. Darius might as well been cursing him in ducky tongue. He's clearly not fond of that idea it seems.

"Darius," Ring begins and is obviously trying not to laugh as he gently addresses Duck!Darius. "Remember manners?" Some laughter escapes upon his next question, "Can you quack nicely?"

He grabs the potion with his beak and runs after you, flapping his wings with agitated duck noises

𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙩... he sighs, picking his brother up gently by the sides and cradling him akin to a small dog.

Duck!Ring snuggles into his brother before Nica makes the comment about ladies in his room. In response, he lifts his head up and narrows his eyes at Nica's teasing before nudging him with the bottle, quacking impatiently

𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙛 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚? He chuckles, gently squeezing his brother before picking up the bottle, 𝙈𝙖𝙮𝙗𝙚 𝙬𝙚'𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙤 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙟𝙖? His eyes softened a tad at Ring before tugging the cork out with his teeth and tipping it for Ring to drink, setting him down in the process.

As soon as he's back in his human body, Ring stands up, rolls his shoulder and dusts himself off before looking sheepishly at his older brother and nods.

"Danke. I would like some food yes but first," he looks around with a slight frown on his face before stepping out into the hallway, looking around and his frown deepens and a short exasperated sigh escapes his nose.

"Verwandelt mich in eine Ente und verschwindet dann," he mutters before resting his hand on his hip and pretending to nudge at something with his foot. "I'll have to ask her not to do that again later, then."

He blinks at Nica and at the comment about Dari, his lips purse as he tries not to smile as he snorts. "It would have to be close because of his short legs. But yes," he nods again, "I'd like to eat now."

"Why, did I hear two little birds talking about me?" Darius suddenly appeared from behind them, his signature smile looking to be oddly eerie today...

Meanwhile, Dari is still waddling in the hallway, tiny webbed feet making slippery noises as they stepped on the tiled floor.

He continues moving at an abnormal speed for a duck — (perks of being a Cursed duckie I suppose...) — until he finally arrives at a balcony overlooking the lush gardens of the Crown Castle.

He somehow manages to hop on to the railing, staring down curiously at a certain red figure taking a stroll.

He strolls up to Duckius before taking one look at where he's staring in the garden, then back to his 'boss.' 𝘿𝙖𝙧-𝙞-𝙪𝙨. 𝘿𝙤𝙣'𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙞𝙩.

A very slow quack escapes from dari's golden beak, emphasising on each syllable. He's teetering precariously on the edge.
